The staff was lovely. The surroundings are great.

The whole building stunk like old, greasy food. It was literally like being in the kitchen. We had booked a "suite". Turned out we had to go up tons of stairs and smelly stairwells only to get to a place with bad insulation and a bad sofa bed with ill fitting sheets.

Breakfast, restaurant, unique design, cleanliness, staff, location, parking. Peaceful and calm place. Everything was good. Thank you!

I wish there had been a fridge in the room :)

Beautiful, peaceful wooded setting near a small lake. The room was large and bright, one flight up. There is no elevator, but staff is kind and helpful with bags. We had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant, the best meal we had on the entire trip. We would love to come back again.

The lack of an elevator is a problem when you are older. Here the stairs were fairly easy to negotiate fortunately, with a sturdy bannister, so we managed. That is the only negative thing I have to say about this lovely property.

Excellent location for those that like nature. Many paths for hiking and biking with picturesque landscapes. The room of the hotels was spacious and very nicely decorated. The staff, in particular at the reception, was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately there are some minuses:- Surprisingly, thhe bedroom was not cleaned up and made after our first night.- The prices of meals/drinks at the cafe/restaurant were ridiculously high and not in proportion what the quality and quantity that was offered.

What an unexpected find! A beautifully renovated traditional country guest house in leafy surroundings. Everything was carefully chosen with a real love of detail. The most comfortable bed ever, delicious food and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

I was looking for tranquil and picturesque countryside property for my mother’s birthday, and couldn’t be happier with my choice! I loved the interior design and the luxurious bedding linen. The staff were super-friendly, helpful and attentive.

The housekeeping was a little bit of hit and miss, they skipped the cleaning one day.

The staff are friendly, helpful, professional and attentive and appear to really take pride in their work. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and the choice of decor throughout the hotel very tastefully done. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was perfect, from the wine to the food, five star service and Christmas decorations. A gem on the countryside I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, Bramsche's best kept secret. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
