Nice breakfast, in the café, so a faint smell of old beer lingers.

On the street side, people and groups interact till after midnight, causing some noise.

Room is basic, could do with a little update. The hotel, staff, food were fantastic. Will stay again

No parking available- instead use public car parking nearby but 0900 curfew. Don’t advertise parking if you don’t have it!

Great location and also has a nice restaurant. We were lucky enough to arrive a little late and could use the parking nearby. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Finding the parking is a challenge.

Despite the central location, the room was quiet and enjoyed seeing the deer in the nearby park. We had an excellent meal outside with a particularly friendly waiter.

We had a job to find the car park and it was quite cramped

Convenient town centre location on the main square. Great locked room indoors for bikes. Staff all friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant served good food and even better beer. Breakfast was okay.

The room was very dated and minimal. There was no heating and despite it being June the weather was unseasonably cold. Quite damp in the room by morning. Towels provided were damp, query whether they had actually been changed. The room was not expensive but still not good value.

The first night I got woken up in the middle of the night from noises in the corridor, I assume it was other patrons.Other than that there is nothing else for me to complain about

What better to enjoy after a long work day and an exhausting car drive through torrent and rains on a black November evening? A hotel which has its own micro brewery! The restaurant supplies great fodd with beer variants off the beaten track. No wonder with an Aussie maître brasseur. Outstanding staff, all friendly and approachable. An ample room, simple but clean and quiet, provided a good nights´ sleep.

A long way downstairs and a cramped parking lot. Anyway, I found parking some steps away (only possible to leave your car during nighttime).

Rooms outdated and bathroom very old mouldy and honestly just done. Breakfast nothing special.

Too hot in the room, hotel needs remodeling and wire change, we had issues with electricity.

Room was double booked when we arrived late at 1:30am as we advised them . It took 40 minutes to arrange another room.Receptionist was just leaving as we struggled to put our pin in to get our room key outside. (of course our key wasn't our key!) Without that we could not enter the building.If we were 10 minutes later we would not have got in & would have been left outside with nowhere to sleep.Room was dark and old fashioned. Basic very cheap toiletries. Cups for mouthwash in bathroom were flimsy plastic the type that come in 100s that kids like to crush after a drink.We paid extra for a comfort room, if that was the comfort room what on earth would the cheaper standard room be like?

I must be unlucky for the room with Street lamp right in front of window, not working internet in the room and shower full of water stone. Didnt have good sleep there. ?

Very comfortable bed and the room was very quiet. However, directions to park there via Navi system, were nearly impossible. But we managed to find the hotel and a parking place eventually. The breakfast was very nice with good, fresh items. The bathroom could be a little cleaner though. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there.

The tub was dirty, and we needed to self clean before use. Paying extra for a room with a tub, I would be more satisfied if I did not need to clean it myself.

Room close to the elevator, very noisy.The radiator was turned off when I arrived an it was cold.

Location is excellent and staff are very friendly.all facilities in same property.best option if you wish to stay in veendam for business travel / leisure even.everything is a walk around.
