Ramat Rachel Resort offers accommodations and a Kibbutz experience in the heart of Jerusalem in a tranquil garden setting and outdoor and indoor heated swimming pool. It is 15-minute drive from Jerusalem city center, with public busses passing nearby every 20 minutes. Ramat Rachel Resort features spacious guest rooms with views over the natural surroundings. Breakfast is buffet style, with characteristic Israeli ingredients. The Ramat Rachel’s landscaped gardens feature shady pine trees and plenty of sun-bathing spots. There are 4 tennis courts, an exercise room plus a sauna and steam room. The Resort also features its own on-site spa, where guests can enjoy a variety of relaxing massages, therapies and treatments. The restaurant serves a buffet of Israeli specialties alongside international fare, for lunch and dinner. There is also a pool-side snack bar and a café in the lobby.

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price. Guests are advised that on Saturdays and on Jewish holidays check-in time is 2.5 hours after sunset. We are happy to inform you that between the dates 3.11.24-10.04.25 we are upgrading the hotel lobby. During this period, an alternative lobby area will be available to guests.

Pros +
- The location was great. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist locations; right on the bus line. Also, there is a neat archeological park right on the campus!

Cons -
- The pool was not easy to access. For some reason, the indoor access was closed. You had to walk all the way around the building outside to access pool. Too much hassle.
- Not happy, Bad customer service, the staff were not professional. I had to wait long time for manager services....
- that they are charging per persons per room as well as the cost of a child vs adult. Watch it!! you can get charged the cost of a new room for two little kids.
