- It was very dated and in the midst of a renovation which hadnt been mentioned
- I was travelling through all Europe and this hotel was my first destination after driving 1200 km. I booked hotel via booking.com at 1:46 AM and got conformation. I needed about 45 minutes to get to hotel. When arrive reception was blocked as on the pictures - there was hope because there was contact number for night. So called that number and someone who answered didnt speak English at all. What I only understood from German - that I should come in the morning. So contacted helpline booking.com - and they were useless as the person who answered call in the hotel. So I was left without hotel to sleep at least 3-4 hours. So slept in the car and continue driving. But hotel and booking.com needs to revise their procedures of late booking. And looking for solutions not creating problems.
