Pros +
- Staff was helpful and friendly. Location is good, I could park easily on the same street of the hotel, for free since I arrived after the paid time. The room was quiet, I couldn't hear traffic from the street or neighbors, only voice of people getting off the elevator. There is no restaurant but there are restaurants and a grocery store close by - I could borrow fork and spoon from the hotel.
- The stuff is great !
- The staff is really good, polite and professional. Always a pleasure to return.
Cons -
- We are sold renovated rooms and get older rooms, it is a bit annoying, but the room was sparkling clean and I had everything I needed, it worked.
- The breakfast was really poor and the dried fruits were very old, you could feel the taste and the texture
- The lack of teapot in a room , especially in winter time when you need to make some tea and don't wanna go outside or everything is closed at night

Daniel at the reception was pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and the location of the hotel was just perfect.
The TV channels are poor as well the breakfast
Central location, parking ( not free ), breakfast
Bad isolation (Noise from street), beds, old style
Old hotel but still usable. The receptionist was helpfull waiting for check in after working hours.
Staff and cleanliness are very good.
The shower style and the breakfast could have been a bit better
The third time I stay in this hotel. Great location, the optimal price.
I picked the same room and in the drawer was a joint. Seems that it's there for a while.
Great location in the downtown. Nearby supermarkets and few restaurants. Nice breakfast with fresh baked bread, eggs, muesli, milk, juice, tea, coffee, croissants and chocolate pastry, fruits, jogurt, ham and cheese. very quiet place. In front I found interesting second hand shop where you could find rare books, vynils, jewelry, etc.
looks like they are short in personnel, so you might not find anyone at the reception. There's is a phone that you may call - look carefully. I missed that notice between tons of other posters, so I had to wait about one hour. But that was my fault do not see the notice.
Good location, friendly staff and nice breakfast
There was a bit of mould in the shower. It is an older hotel and Le Locle is not exactly the most bustling town so I can completely understand.
Hotel in the centre of town - excellent location. Bike could be kept stored safely in a bar area. Breakfast great, good value for money. Due to bad weather I decided to book an extra night.
No-one there on the Sunday night when I arrived. I called the number on the door and the friendly receptionist less than 10 minutes later
late check-in and check-out possiblebig roomcomfortable carpet floor
not a real double bed, bed also a bit hardno kitchen appliances and no pots although there's a kitchenetteno water boiler for tea water (in the room at least)shower head has to be replaced as water pressure is so high that it almost hurts even at the lowest valve openingfan in the bathroom should be cleaned
the location is fantastic, 3min walk from train station Le Locle. Staff is friendly
can hear traffic noise in the night. room is a bit old
The breakfast.
The hotel looks modern from the outside yet the room was quite dark and old fashioned. There was no air conditioning so we were obliged to open the window and then we got the noise from the street below. The underground parking was very tight to manoeuvre out. The number of different keys to use (room door, garage door and hotel entrance) seemed a bit in excess. We found it strange that the reception area didnt have staff all the time.
The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We could stay an extra night without problems.
Not enough spare toilet paper. The bar was closed.
Helpful staff, great location. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere.
The location was so good, free are parking next by, for one night it was so good , the night shift gentleman was so freindly multi languages, I got a city card which made my visit the area so interesting , the room size is big and better than the pictures
Furniture need to refresh lit bit , found a spot on the bed sheet which was not nice at all
Location
Walls thin like paper. Some drunk guests and a police raid in the middle of the night made a sleepless night.
very nice
little warm on the 4th floor
Great hotel, clean and lots of character. Can't imagine it's changed since the 70s
