Historischer Gasthof Kaisermühle - Hotel & Restaurant Viersen Zentrum

The area is silent, the room was large with a big table, large bathroom and all windows had roller shutters so it was really dark in the morning as well. The hotel has an excellent restaurant so if you arrive in the evening you can relax with a good meal.

The nearest electrical charging station is about 400 meters away from the hotel so if you come with an electrical car and you need to charge it overnight, bring some comfortable walking shoes.

Nice room, it was clean. It is next to a lake. Great breakfast.

Personnel was kind, but I think you need more than one person. In the morning I was searching how to get in the restaurant for the breakfast because it was locked and when found one and ate , it had to close at 9.30 and not 10. Small things I know, I just believe one person cannot do all things there.

It was a beautiful historic building and the food at the restaraunt was great

The room was a bit tired and the roller shutters in the bedroom did not work.The bathroom grout needed some work

The room was very neat and clean and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the food (dinner and breakfast) and left very well rested because of the comfortable mattress. All in all a wonderful accommodation for this price. Would definitely recommend! GK däm

The fridge was not working at all i bought some ice and was melted because of the fridge , pillows was not too good maybe thinking about the second one for rooms because 79€ for one night must be better , also in the second day at the morning it was 10 am and doors was closed for the restaurant ?‍♂️...

The location of the hotel is really calm, and my room, under the roof, large and comfortable. The building is historical, with a lot of charm and a mesmerizing water wheel visible from the dining room. The restaurant was of good quality, and the employees friendly and helpful. All in all, a great night of stay on my business trip across Europe. I'll definitely stay there again!

The room is nice and clean, not just ikea style and furniture. The hotel is a bit old, but that's not a flaw to me, more to look like a real life thing.It's the historical building with river flowing just by its foundation!

This establishment is truly disgusting and not worthy of the words 'Hotel & Gasthof'. One of the beds in my room (room 12) was slept in, unmade and dirty. The carpets everywhere had muddy footprints from a previous guest. When I returned to reception later in the evening there were no staff members present so I had to sleep in the second bed in my room. Sleep was disturbed twice during the night by somebody trying to enter my locked room. From that time I did not sleep at all. There were no staff on the premises until 11:00 the following morning. The whole place is tired, worn out and dirty. My subsequent complaint by email has not received a meaningful response and overall the customer service experienced here is non-existent. I have made a formal dispute/complaint with Booking dot Com. I am a frequent traveller, staying in many different places each year and this is by far the worst I have ever experienced. It should be condemned and closed.

Cleanliness. Thick dust on coffee machine. Had to change rooms because one did not have hot water. Absolutely filthy carpet. Spiderwebs and black dirt on shelves. Someone had stuffed toilet paper into the coffee machine and this was not cleaned out. Bathroom radiator dusty and rusted. could go on, but this was the most disgusting place I ever staid in. None of the staff but one speak German or English.
