Gorgona Hotel

The room was very adorable and clean. The staff is helpful and kind. With two steps youre on the harbour. Skaminea is a little town and the hotel is just in the center. Kagia beach is 5 minutes away by car. Nice and calm place to swim.

The doors and window blinds are a little noisy. Not a big problem but it depends with the other clients.

They've switched our room at our 2nd day and couldn't make a decent explanation. They've just blamed booking.com however about this. New room's Air conditioner remote wasn't working (only on/off) and they've couldn't manage to repair it.There is no flyscreen on the balcony. Queen bed also was very small compared to previous room's (it was 2 single combined) Wifi also suffering, not stable all the time. It's not a quiet location, there are lot's of dogs and very noisy motorcycles around. Tradesmans keep yelling each other at the 6am in the morning. Almost all kind of doors (including cabinet and balcony) are squeaky, it's so hard to keep your baby sleeping while you hanging around. Try to select rooms looking to the mountain side (if they have).

Room is enough large and pretty new furnitured... Balkony is amazing to sit in the morning and evening with sea view and silence. The area is a small village but lots of restaurants around. Market is just fron of the hotel. There is car parking at the hotel. Wifi is strong. Whatelse you can expect more... Molivos is just 30 min drive if you want to go to the center as well... There is a small beach just 3 min walking distance and another one is 3 min drive which is Kagia Beach has trees as natural umbrella and there are 2 restaurants as well. We spent great 5 days and hopefully will be back again.

Hotel owners and staff are amazingly hospital and helpful. The rooms are desined in a useful way. The hotel is very clean.

Bathrooms should be renovated. Breakfast not included in the price.

The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and a good shower. There is a fridge and kettle in the room. I had a lovely sea view with balcony. All the staff were very friendly and helpful!

The sheets on the bed were slightly too small for the bed, so you couldnt tuck them in and they tended to move in the night. I visited in February and found the room a bit cold. I needed to keep the heating on all the time, as the room is poorly insulated. The reception on the TV was poor.

An excellent location and the staff/owners were so friendly and helpful.Good cafes and tavernas right on the doorstep in this tiny fishing port.

The location is excellent. The room is very clean and comfortable. Easy to communicate and great host. I recommend everyone to go to Scala Skamania and to stay at the hotel Gorgona.
