Walls are a bit thin but wasn't a big issue.

Charming hotel with wonderful breakfast and restaurant. The staff makes the visit feel like home, they are so nice and pleasant to be around. The beds are the most comfortable ones we've had in Spain. Easy location to visit nearby towns, hiking, and beaches. The Terrace was lovely to enjoy the breeze and the views.

The bathroom was in need of a bit of repairs, but very minimal.

Very spacious , clean, and modern. Good AC and Wifi. King room with desk was a good value. Terrific rooftop terrace to relax with a drink or meal. Nice breakfast included. Definitely a good value and worth the drive to/from area attractions.

A lovely, modern little hotel in a tiny wee place. Excellent value for money, fabulous staff. Free parking on the road outside. Great for driving into Carthage the next morning.

Good functional hotel to use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. Room was fine, big comfortable bed. Delicious pizzas in the hotel restaurant. Basic breakfast available. Lovely roof terrace. Interesting location in quiet ex-mining community. Limited bars & restaurants in Portmán & very little open when we visited in April, but wasn’t a problem. Spar supermarket across the road from the hotel.

Well done to the manager... who was also the chef that prepared our pizza! Room was clean, pizza was OK. SPAR across the road was useful. Breakfast of tostada, fruit and coffee was fine. There's literally nothing to see in Portman, but head to Playa Lastre for a pretty sunset.

Room was basic and small, plus I couldn't access the HDMI port on the TV to plug in a Fire Stick.

Very remote. No restaurants or shopping close by. Empty town. The hotel has a restaurant and we were told “we need a reservation”. — we only saw one couple having dinner. We decided to go to another town for dinner. No very friendly staff. Breakfast was very limited. The shower flooded next day. A lot of wood damage in the bathroom it seems like that shower floods all the time

Very good quality for the money spent.breakfast was alright, they serve tostada's with toppings of your choosing. The staff speaks english.

They have a restaurant as well, the food was okay but nothing special. Quite bad sound insulation, we could hear our neighbors talking.The rooms could have been cleaned better. For example, the trash in the bathroom was not taken out and the shower had hair in it when we arrived in the room.

Unpleasant smell of sewage in the bathroom in hotelNothing to do with the hotel-- The remains of the ruins of the mining complexes spoil the first impression It is clear that they are working hard to beautify the place, but it will take a lot of time to remove the remains of the mining past and the destroyed nature (+ for changes for the better)

Everything. Comfortable bed, great shower, lovely location.Breakfast is simple but very good. Coffee, croissants, tostados, fruit. What more do you need?And all for 36 euros a night (in February)The Italian themed restaurant also does good food at a reasonable price, which is lucky as in February everywhere else in Portmán is closed!

This was our 4th visit (it’s the only place we ever return to!) and on the first three we had a room with a view of the mountains. This time, though the room itself was fine…no view?This was disappointing.

Fantastic and looked after by all the people at Hotel Portmán. Breakfast - coffee, kiwi and either croissants or my favourite was toasted tomato and olive oil. The views and peacefulness are amazing. If you want a simple and quiet spot then this is the place.

Great family run Hotel in the middle of nowhere, but very close to Cartagena :) very clean and spacious rooms and terrace at the top for relax are super nice. Good breakfast and afternoon you can order pizza or pasta at this hotel restaurant. Very good place to spend few nights.

The room was simple, spacious, clean and comfortable. The common spaces are pleasant, there's a restaurant on the ground floor where the breakfast is served. The staff are very friendly and there are parking spaces just in front.

First a warm and informative warm welcome from the receptionist. Our room was large and so was the bathroom - the bed was very comfortable and despite our stay being in January the room was pleasantly warm without the use of air con blowing. Excellent breakfast. The roof terrace is beautiful. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We booked for three nights but sadly, because of an emergency, we had to leave after two nights but will certainly stay there again.

New and clean hotel. Value for money. Portman is a small and sleepy city. Dive into the mine history and the ecological disaster that took place here and you will be shocked.
