Jardines de La Santa

Hotel truly lives up to its 4-star rating. Beautiful old building.Tall windows with shutters. Gardens all around, providing shade from the heat. Great pool! Onsite cafe and a restaurant. Receptionists were friendly, provided all info. The room was spacious. Most comfortable bed so far, slept like on a cloud.

The great quiet location, the free internet, free parking, the clean room, the possibility to have breakfast there, the facilities in the room, The nice staff, the option to serve a coffee or something else in the cafeteria and the restaurant

Beautiful setting high above the town of Totana. Staff were wonderful. The food was excellent. Everything in our room worked well .

Only problem was that you couldn’t drive up to the reception to decant any luggage you had.. and in the heat ?….

It was the nicest hotel we stayed in in Spain. Great rooms, fantastic views. Would have liked to stay there longer.

Great location. Very relaxed. Great walks in the hills. Good food but limited Easter menu. Loads of parking but seems open to non-guests so can be busy.

Please clean the bedroom floors! Checked into room which hadn't been made up so room changed. The room seemed a bit run down and needed some TLC.

Lack of tea/coffee making facility, not enough pillows

The availability of the recepnionist: in a classified 4 stars hotel only one person spoke English language. i don' t speak Spanish. The barman spoke only his language: we are in a 4 stars hotel...1 plus for the receptionist. Thank you

Good dinner, friendly & helpful staff

No where local to eat. Hotel food was good but we like to try other restaurants. Would have been good to supply details of other restaurant opening times

Room was clean and basic, bathroom looking worn. Great view and comfortable.

Although breakfast was good there were no hot items , no staff in attendance and the coffee machine played up.

Lovely location and beautiful place .

The staffing levels are too low .The staff we're very helpful but one instance was at breakfast the coffee machine stopped working and there was no one to ask .We had to go up to reception

Very quiet and an interesting setting

Rude staff behind the reception desk Arrogant and uninterestedThe café side run by two very young girls who didn’t respect the guests and played music too loud and were very noisy as trying to read. Poor service

The position of the hotel was great as were the facilities. Good value evening meal in the restaurant. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The cafe on site opened early in the morning for a coffee before exploring. Interesting area and history.

The central heating was very hot and difficult to control. Other clients disturbed our rest well past 1.30 pm. The management should consider reminding guests that silence is required after 11.30 pm

Location is stunning and the hotel itself is attractive, spacious and comfortable. Dinner was excellent

A second chair in the bedroom would have been helpful

Staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent, room was absolutely lovely, views were stunning and the price was great

Shower was a bit on the weak side

The breakfast was not satisfactory, food and drinks were cold. Limited choice of food and poorly presented. The bathroom cubicle was moulded and needed a good clean. The hair drying was almost impossible to operate with one hand. The room was “tired”

Breakfast was plentiful and good. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff were very pleasant. The surroundings were lovely.

The fridge didn't work. No facilities for making a hot drink. Would have liked more pillows. Not the hotel's fault but very few guests at the time, so we rattled around a bit!

Lovely location. Very peaceful. Comfortable bed. Good cafe on site.

We were in room 218 and unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell for most our stay (from bathroom). We did report this to reception.No tea or coffee making facilities. No tissues. Water not replaced on second day. Two towels not three on second day.

Hotel: Situated in the mountains, very tranquil.Room: Large and clean.Fridge: containing two bottles of water.WiFi: Free and worked well from our room.Large car park: Free and on site.

Shower room: In need of a new shower and shower surround. Hairdryer: Very old and became unbearably hot to hold.Long walk from carpark to room.
