Staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was minimal for a price of 10 euros. Exact same breakfast everyday. Room did not have kettle or coffee maker for coffee/hot water.

Good inside secure bike storage . Room 212 a bit dated and a bit dark but clean and comfortable . Reception pleasant . Great Italian restaurant next building . Good breakfast with reasonable price point .

Room needs better lighting at night . Great lighting for a funeral home but not so good for a hotel room .

Very nice hotel with lots of character in the centre of a very pretty town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Restaurant also good.

The shower needs and update

Great and friendly reception . Elevator to upper floors. Right off bike trail with great secure bicycle storage . Room 212 had great character with view of the square . Very clean with good shower and comfortable bed . Good breakfast but now there is a charge extra for a scrambled egg . A bit of a surprise and off putting ! Restaurant for dinner was closed but great Italian restaurant immediately next door

This wonderful and unique hotel is centrally located.

They have very nice rooms and their own restaurant with outside seatings

1. No aircon and very small room. Its located so close to neighbour that both can see into the rooms.2. Hardly any Breakfast choice.3. Very old place.4. No proper approach road to the place.

The Hotel was dirty, stinking and terrible. The room was very dirty, and the sheets were not clean.

The unhygienic conditions in the corridor, room and bathroom. The sheets were stained and dirty.

The breakfast was exceptional, as was the service of the staff. We had a secure garage for our bicycles.

The price/performance ratio.

We stayed here previously in August 2021 and really liked the place, location, staff etc. This time was even better with a great room , great clean and comfortable bathroom and especially. a wonderful friendly staff . On-site restaurant dinner was good with reasonable price point . Breakfast was very good . Immediately off Neckar Bike Trail and has excellent inside bicycle storage .

Location and outside of hotel are lovely. Room was nice. Really nice towels.

Very small shower and my pillow was really flat. Do not eat in the Italian restaurant next door. Worst Italian I ever had.

We planned a single night's stay on the way to somewhere else. Fate intervened and car trouble meant we ended up staying an additional three nights. Not a hardship. The hotel is family owned (seven generations apparently). It's just superb. Comfortable rooms and a great restaurant. For our stay we didn't dine anywhere else - worked our way through the menu! Absolutely delicious, proper German fare. Lots of favourites, and a chance to enjoy accomplished cooking from what is clearly a well run kitchen. Mind, you, you'll need to find a forest to cut down after each meal! Portions are generous and hearty! Honestly, this hotel and restaurant should be on a 'foodie trail'.
