Hotel Achilles

As always our overnight stay st the Achilles was a very comfortable one. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the owners and our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and lovely en suite facilities.Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and was very reasonably priced. The motorway network is only minutes away so the hotel is ideally situated.

Perfect. People are helpful, hospitable, the room is nice, clean, comfortable. 5 star from me.

We arrived out of restaurant hours and rang number given but had no answer. Self check in procedure should be made clearer

We had booked 2 rooms, It was all very well planned and convenient even though it was a contactless process, and the owner/restaurant downstairs was also very friendly. Easy convenient parking, a well-organized check-in and housekeeping system. and a coffee machine that works. It's a hassle-free nice/quaint hotel that's well-priced. I would totally recommend it

We received a warm welcome on our arrival at the hotel which is situated close to the motorway network. Our room was spotless and roomy with very comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Received a very warm welcome, bearing in mind it was a last minute booking.Had a very nice supper in the restaurant.We were the only guests and very pleased to find tea, coffee, etc, machine, for our use in the lobby

We booked for two persons including breakfast via Booking, but we could not find the breakfast. We called the hotel number three times, but we did not get a response. We also did not get a response when we messaged that the toilet was not flushing anymore.

Comfortable, clean, good value for money.

Commujication was a disaster. The receptionist did not show up, we could not reach them via phone, whattsapp, sms. No answer. They key was left at the reception desk, than the hotel reported no show up. Wierd…

Perfect stay for a stop on the go during a trip.Efficient, clean, quiet and with a very nice tavern to eat and drink.Couldn't ask for more and still the staff is very nicey.

The staff is nice, the hotel room is clean. The price/value ratio is beyond expectations.

Public area clean tidy and modern. The room was clean tidy and modern. Looked newly renovated. Bed very comfy. The restaurant below the accommodation was lovely and good value. An ideal overnight stopover on our long journey. We would 100% stay again to break up our journey.

The view out of our window was of an old balcony that had not yet been renovated or tidied up and looked a bit of an eye sore.

Easily accessible from the highway.We saw no one from the hotel but keys were left out for us. Free coffee in the morning.

Rooms were very hot. Beds were hard.

The room was basic but ok and the location and parking were good. The Greek restaurant delivered a very good evening meal.

After check in was informed that, contrary to reviews and the description that they were not offering a breakfast service. Was told free coffee outside my room was available from a machine, but when I went to it the machine was empty.
