Pros +

  • Dutch pancakes were excellent for breakfast. Outstanding clamping experience. Sounds and view of the river from my porch. Grounds are stunning. Proximity to waterfall.
  • Kees - the owner - somehow managed to create one of the cleanest and most comfortable stay, in tents that we experienced in CR. The farm is green and close to nature - with it's own river and also a waterfall close to it. We only spent 1 night here - which we regret, because it might be a perfect location to do 'star tours'.
  • Beautiful lodges, right in nature! The drive to get here, like others say, is 4km up a bumpy road but it's fine and not that bad. We did it in a normal car. The lodge is beautiful and surrounded by nature and right next to the river with waterfalls, and you can swim! Breakfast was fantastic! They don't serve dinner but there is a restaurant 200m down the road that does! The owner is so friendly and helpful! Would 100% recommend!

Cons -

  • the weather during rainy season.
  • You really need a 4x4 to get to the hotel (30mins)on grainy and narrow road.
  • Nothing!
