Hotel Europa

I had difficulty and frustration with getting into the hotel despite the pre-registration process. We managed to get through the front door and then found that reception was manned. This person was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect as far as comfort, quietness and ease of parking.

Getting access in to the hotel, You need email, a mobile phone with Wi-Fi connection, then download another App and log-in as 'Guest', input the username and password sent to you separately! What could possibly go wrong?! What happens when the power is down? This would stop me from booking here again and Booking.com should rate the access difficulty.

Clean rooms, hot bath, location was great. Easy parking. The man that worked the reception was fantastic and always available. Accomadating for a dog .

The room was quite clean and comfortable, the bed was also super comfortable and firm. The bathroom was very clean and neat and the shower water was strong and nice warm. There were plenty of parking places available inside a very private and safe area. The receptionist was beyond kind and helpful and accompanied us all the way to the parking area and even took the effort to move another smaller car to better accommodate ours, which was bigger and more loaded. He also gave us recommendations for both dinner and breakfast places which we accepted to our satisfaction, since there is no food service in the hotel.

There was one only central light in the bedroom (so, no table lamps), which makes the environment a bit unpleasant, however, it was only when we were about to leave next day that we noticed a small poster by the reception office stating that guests were welcomed to ask for extra table lights should they need one, but it was already too late... maybe those small posters could be actually placed INSIDE the rooms??

The hotel was easily accessible and had a very good private parking area.

The actual entrance door was not so easy to find and the reception was on the first floor. Something which could be mentioned when booking.

I really can't understand why this hotel has only 1 star. It's in many ways better than most 3 star hotels I've seen so far.It has luxurious Spanish colonial lobby. Rooms are big enough and so is the bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Location is good; just next to few really good restaurants and 10 minutes walk from main plaza. And most of all, it's perfect for travelers. Easy to access with car and this big private parking lot. It's secured by walls from all directions and the gate was big enough to fit my car with motorcycle trailer.It exceeded my expectations in many ways.

There was no hairdryer in a room, but I got it from reception. It was a bit cold (April), but I left the air condition running and it was fine.

staff was nice and hotel rooms were clean, nice and spacious.

The air conditioning was a bit old and not working properly, the walls of the room maybe too thin, therefore a bit noisy with the rooms next door and the hallway.Other than that, great place for a short stay!
