Mountain Rose Hotel & Restaurant

Superb location with wonderful walks and scenery. The hotel layout is very similar to those in Austria, with lots of wood construction and must look great during the winter seasons. Lovely Staff and a very generous breakfast is provided daily. Room balcony very peaceful and a superb location for reading/relaxing. Great ambience all-round.

Room 109 and 3 bulbs not working. Not sure when room radiators are switched on but the quilt provided, during end of October period, is most welcome.

It has an amazing view from the rooms and the staff are nice.

The place was cold, heating didn't work well and worked for only short period of time, even the shower was not hot and with weak stream

The location and people are great, kind and very welcoming. The place has a lot of history and traditions. Rooms are large, beds are good, I had the best sleep in the past 10 days. The views are amazing. Go up to the cross, look for the 12 churches, learn about the bizantine period and try home made traditional.sweets made by the owner of the place. It is an excellent location if visiting monasteries as well.

The host, breakfast, location, and view were top-notch.

Everything was fully functional, but the facilities could be a tad more modern.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel, and though the room was a little chilly, the quilt was lovely and warm, perfect for snuggling under. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

For what is effectively a 2 Star hotel, remember that the location is exceptional. Close to outstanding walks AND situated in a UNESCO classified village. On a cold March weekend, we could sit by wood burning fires to generous portions of sumptuous dinner. Our bed was extremely comfortable. All this for 60 Euros a night!

The building is dated and has seen better days (which adds to the charm). But it does mean that you may have to cope with challenging plumbing. Bring eyeshades - just in case...

The Breakfast was wonderful and tasty. The owner and staff made us feel welcome. The people and culture of Cyprus is super friendly and inviting, but the Mountain Rose Hotel took that to an even higher level.

Hotel wasn't Clean, towels and sheets were full of dirt, room not comfortable for our family, bathroom barely worked (very low flow of hot water). We initially booked for 2 nights but we left after one night and had to look for another hotel!! Very very disappointed.

Beautiful location, beautiful big rooms with cozy beds. Large balcony. Very tasty breakfast, a lot things to choose from. Also had gread dinner there. Its also very affordable. Best place I stayed in whole Cyprus.
