Shams Hotel offers a superb beach location in Dahab’s central Mashraba District. It includes Shams restaurant which overlooks the Red Sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in the coffee shop. Air-conditioned rooms and bungalows are simply decorated with private bathroom. Guests can enjoy Red Sea or garden views from their own balcony or terrace. Some have a satellite TV and mini-bar. Several restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant or brought to your room. Shams has its own dove center for snorkeling and diving. The tour desk can organize car rental, bicycles or excursions to St. Catherine's Monastery and Mt. Sinai. The Blue Hole dove location is a 15-minute drive. Sharm el Sheikh International Airport is 56 mi away by car.

Pros +
- The location was really nice, the cabins are lovely and the breakfast was a nice addition.
Cons -
- The bathroom was broken, we had a missing glass at the shower, we told the owner and he said he will replace it soon. The staff was helpful with offering us last minute day trips, but the prices were a lot higher than at the local agencies. Also, pay attention at the negociation, if they say euros or dollars and if the price is per person or per trip.
