    Pros +

    • The staff were amaising! The hotel was really pretty. Everything was really clean and kept very well. I work in the Hospitiality industry and I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of this country hotel. The road/traffic did not bother us at all as some of the reviews point out. Although no eggs were served at breakfast we enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast that really gave that Spanish feel with local produce.
    • Stunning property in a lovely location. Masses of parking. Delightful staff. As half board guests we had dinner each evening- very good. Let down only by breakfast - broken drinks machine and cereals in containers with no lids. Not hygienic. Also the room safe wasn’t fastened down so in theory could just be taken away !!! Good value - would stay again
    • Everything was great. Good quiet room. Nice bar snacks. Good breakfast.

    Cons -

    • For guests travelling from abroad and perhaps dont know: Public swimming pools close by 15 September every year. This hotel's pool was no exception. We booked here so that my daughter could use the pool and when we got there she could not swim...I would reccommend that the hotel alert guests to this fact as it was a very big part of our stay. Please offer coffee/Tea in the rooms. It is helpful for when guests cannot sleep and the cafeteria is still closed.I would suggest some lighter meal options at a lesser price and or children's menu with smaller meals to choose from.Although I mention the things above it is merely suggestions and it did not take away anything from our pleasant stay.We will recommend this hotel to anyone who asks.
    • Eco on the open court corridor. We can hear every guest slamming doors, specially a whole bus of young sports team, chanting out loud at late hours.
    • The room was quite warm which was a concern having our dog with us. We couldn't turn the a/c down but this wasn't a problem as we opened the window which prevented the a/c from working. Security was not an issue as there was a substantial grille on the window.

De quality of the restaurant and friendly staff

Maybe they should give the gym a good clean

Excellent pool. Lovely breakfast and a fantastic restaurant

There were a lot of mosquitos in the room. I killed about 15 before I finally went to bed. This was a shame as everything else was so lovely. Would it put me off going there again? No, but I would bring some sort of spray

Lovely staff, nice bar and restaurant. Evening meal of high standard with superb presentation. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Comfortable room to a high standard. Hotel is out of town but everything you need is onsite. Sensible prices.

    Nothing of note.

Beautiful building in a magical location, en route to Andalucia. Lovely professional staff. Didn't use pool as not yet available.Everything was superb, except dinner.

We had opted for half-board. Breakfast was acceptable and varied. Regrettably, dinner a bit of a disaster, with relatively poor service by an overworked but pleasant young man. The reason for the extremely cheap cost soon became obvious. The included dinner was quite simply amateurish. It would appear to be that paying more for the set dinner would be the better choice.

Receptionist Laura was excellent and very helpful. Building is beautiful but is starting to need some TLC. Breakfast was very good.

Out of season so restaurant was closed but cafeteria had combined restaurant/cafeteria menu, although the menu was overall disappointing. The restaurant staff could have been more attentive. They did not have ANY SPANISH BRANDY.

    7JosephPosted on: 11-20-2023

Bar food was good Receptionist was OK to deal with, he spoke English but wasn't very attenative but I suppose there was a lot going on

The place was mental, there were 2 weddings and some party and so you can imagine the noise outside was banging but inside was ok

Pasta from the nearest restaurant was amazing

    Unprofessional and unpleasant receptionist

This is a gorgeous old Quinta-turned-hotel, and the illuminated castle across the way is gorgeous at night.

There were a ton of people at breakfast and having only one complicated coffee machine made for a HUGE line in the breakfast room. They would be smart to have a carafe of plain coffee available or get another machine or two. It took forever to get a cup of coffee as everyone had to figure out how the machine worked. I asked the barman to get me a cup of how water for my tea from the coffee machine behind the bar, but that was “not possible.” It made breakfast kind of a bummer.

It was very well kept, clean with friendly staff. Restaurant was also very good. Location was perfect for travelling across Spain.

    Nothing at all.

Clean room. Good location for a stop off. Good pool. Easy parking with a car full of luggage.

    Breakfast was limited

We’ve stayed here a few times , there’s not much going on it’s mainly a wedding venue hotel , the hotel bar is never open but there is a restaurant where you can get a drink and the foods really good .Really good aircon

Our room was full of mosquitoes full of them which kept us awake all night

    10JacquelinePosted on: 5-17-2023

Dinner excellent & a good breakfast. Hotel in a good location, easy to find. Very clean and a comfortable bed.

    6CharlesPosted on: 5-14-2023

Clean, away from a village and with a good restaurant

We picked a day where the venue was rented out to a huge group of families partying. Kids running around, playing games. A loud DJ set was playing terrible noise until late in the evening. No peace and enjoyment for hotelguests. We escaped to the village but no dinner opportunities before 9 PM. After returning we had a decent meal in the cafeteria of the hotel, a much cheaper option than the restaurant.Nice build, but just beware..you are 15 minutes driving from the nearest ugly village. Breakfast was poor. No ommelettes, bacon. A coffee machine that we all have at home. Would not pick this again.

    7PamelaPosted on: 7-16-2022

The hotel was clean and tidy and parking on site safe and covered.

The air con did not work efficiently and would only reduce room temperature to 26C. There was a loose floor tile by the bed as I got out in the morning and pinched my foot. The room door lock did not work from the inside, so we were unable to secure our room overnight. The room service menu was good and in English, however the cafe menu was all in Spanish and the staff could not speak English. The cold water system only delivered water at body temperature even after running it for some time.
