Burki Castle & Cellar

Burki Castle and Cellar was a delight to stay in! It’s nestled in the foothills of the greater Caucasus mountains in Kvareli. It’s right at the main road that leads to Tbilisi. The hotel itself is in a large estate that is home to a vast vineyard/plantation where they produce grapes that they use to make their very delicious wine. I like the location as it’s in the countryside yet it was very accessible and easy to find. We were able to get to all the tourist spots around Kakheti. I would say it’s in the center of most of the places you would have on your to visit list.We booked two rooms and they are spacious and not cluttered with unnecessary decors, yet they feel cozy. You can expect all the basic amenities from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was very neat too. They have good air conditioning for both hot and cold weather. And the best part, our room had the best view of the sunset and sunrise across the valley and the sheep grazing on the field across the road.Since the hotel is quite a drive away from the main towns (about 40mins), I was a little worries about our dinner but they have an amazing restaurant that operates until 10pm! The food was incredible and the wine is simply exquisite. We even ordered room service after dinner just because we loved the food and wine so much. They have an amazing breakfast too! Their staff were also very warm, welcoming and super accommodating. Our room did not have a large mirror but they immediately brought one when we requested. All in all, we loved every minute of our stay. This is a new hotel but it feels like they’ve been doing this for a while.We’d just like to give a quick shout out to Vano (the front office manager), Goga (who was the super accommodating and friendly waiter at the restaurant), the very warm breakfast cook and Mr. Burki himself who shared with us the history of the hotel. Thank you so much once again!

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend with the family and had a really wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxing, perfect for a family getaway.Our rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with the added bonus of a private balcony in each one—definitely a highlight! The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant served delicious meals as well.

The only minor disappointment was that the pool wasn't open yet. We had initially thought it would be, but since it's April, we understand that it's still off-season. The staff let us know that the pool should be open in just a couple of weeks, so it wasn’t a big issue at all.

1. სრულიად სხვა გარემოა იმისგან, რაც სასტუმროს აქვს წარმოდგენილი Facebook თუ Instagram კონტენტში2. სტაფი არ გაქცევს ადგილზე სათანადო ყურადღებას, ოთახში ჩაიკეტა საპირფარეშოს კარი, შემოგვთავაზეს სხვა ნომერი, სადაც აღმოჩნდა, რომ იყო გათბობის პრობლემა, ვისხედით სიცივეში. რამდენჯერმე ადმინისტრაციის შეწუხების შემდეგ, ეს პრობლემა ვერ მოგვარდა, ამიტომ დაგვაბრუნეს წინა ნომერში და საპირფარეშოს კარი შეაკეთეს (ტექნიკური არ ჰყავთ ადგილზე, ისვენებდა, ამიტომ მოგვიწია ლოდინი). ამ ნომრების ცვლილებების დროს ექსტა-ბედი, რომელიც ბავშვისთვის გვქონდა აღებული, არავის გადაუტანია, ამიტომ ჩვენ თვითონ მოგვიწია ერთი ნომრიდან მეორეში, შემდეგ უკან - გადატანა-გადმოტანა და მიუხედავად ამისა, ბოლოს ამ საწოლის ფული მაინც გადაგვახდევინეს.3. სასტუმროში არანაირი განწყობა არ იგრძნობა, ფაქტობრივად, ვერაფერს იზამდი დღის განმავლობაში, მოსაწყენი სიტუაციაა, არც ბავშვების გასართობი სივრცეა.

Hotel has good location near to sightsings . But stay for me was uncomfortable. Upon entering the room , there was terrible smell coming out from the bathroom, there was also no heating nor in the room, neither in the restaurant. I had to spend the whole evening in the jacket to get warm. Wine was delicious.

Location is perfect and the hotel is really new and modern.The room is spotless and feels like you are the first guests..The views are awesome from all the rooms ,balcony to the winery and the mountains and I could even see some snow on the top...the pool.area is great and it is really huge for swimmers.Maryam the receptionist is so kind and always smiles and gives the best service...I am a solo traveler and she makes you feel at home which is very important during a journey.. The place has its own winery and the white one i had is fabulous..Breakfast is amazing ,fruits,vegetables, many kinds of cheese,juices ,yogurts ,special breads

I really loved my stay at the Blue Balcony Hotel. The beautiful view of Tbilisi was amazing. The staff were kind and friendly, and I appreciated their recommendations for places to visit in the city. My room, although small, was comfortable and had its own bathroom. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

I didn't have any particular issues, but my friends downstairs on the main floor did say that they found it difficult to sleep with the sounds of traffic just outside their room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Burki Hotel in Kakheti, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly polite and friendly staff. The restaurant waiters were especially wonderful, always attentive and eager to make sure every meal was perfect.The hotel itself is a gem. Every detail, from the cozy, well-furnished rooms to the modern amenities, was designed with comfort in mind. The atmosphere is both luxurious and homely, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the beautiful Kakheti region.I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner during my stay. He was incredibly polite and genuinely interested in ensuring that every guest had the best experience possible. It’s clear that his dedication and passion for hospitality are reflected in every aspect of the hotel.Overall, my stay at Burki Hotel was an unforgettable experience. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

It is a great place with amazing architecture, view and staff. It is very clean and tidy everything. The most important thing is that it's very calm there and you can actually relax and enjoy your time.

The minibar was empty, and the prices were too high on drinks. It would be better if they had billiards for a great time or some outdoor acrivity.

ლოკაცია ნორმალური, საკმაოდ სუფთა ნომერი დაგვხვდა (ახალი რემონტით), სასიამოვნო პერსონალი.

ნომერში, რომელიც ჩვენ გვქონდა დაჯავშნილი, უნდა ყოფილიყო მინი ბარი და ტელევიზორი (არც ერთი არ იყო). შემოგვთავაზეს სხვა ნომერი, ქვედა სართულზე, რომელიც იყო ზომით პატარა ჩვენს ნომერზე. წვიმაში მოგვიწია ყოფნა და სასტუმროს არანაირი ლობი ან მსგავსი ტერიტორია არ აქვს, სადაც შეიძლება მუშაობა ან ცუდ ამინდში დროის გაყვანა (მესმის, რომ 3 თვის გახსნილია, მაგრამ ამ ფასად მეტს მოველოდით). საუზმე შეიძლება უფრო მრავალფეროვანი იყოს და ცოტა მოგვიანებით მისვლისას მაინც გქონდეს არჩევანის შესაძლებლობა.

I was with my friend and it was our first time in this place.It was great, food was delicious , owners were very kind and helped with everything.I truly recommend this place to everyone, everything was great, only one thing was bad that we could not stayed longer.Thank you very much for our great stay.

Newly opened, well designed hotel,still on the stages of development.The rooms are spacious, staff is friendly, tastiest americano on breakfast,fridge was working very well. Pool chairs were getting cleaned every day. Thd views are spectacular.

On the second day breakfast was not a buffet, there was a menu,we had to order. Waiting was not fun. Also breakfast assortment was average, they need to add new dishes.There was a spider web in our roomWifi needs improvement, it was switching on and off.Pool does not have lighting or heating to use it on cool evenings.The hotel is located in the field. There is nothing to do aside from pool, wine cellar and vineyards. They can add facilities like pool and foosball tables,bowling alley.In the bathroom there was a sewer smell from time to time.The bed and pillow was very stiff for me personally,there was only 1 lamp on the bedside table in a double room,also the vanity kit and shower cap was placed only for 1 person, which was weird.

The Hotel location is very nice, you have amazing views of Mountains from the balcony. The rooms are clean and the stuff was super friendly. We enjoyed the pool very much. Highly recommended!

View is amazing, rooms are spacious. Owner was there in our time and he treated us with very delicious free wine. In general our stay was memorable and i definitely recommended this place.
