Barcelo Mussanah Resort, Sultanate of Oman

best staff nice place ,clean, nice smell, nice shisha

I stayed at Barceló Resort with my family over the weekend and had an amazing experience. A special thanks to Samira at the front desk, who made our anniversary extra special by offering us a free upgrade—such a thoughtful gesture that truly enhanced our stay. The staff overall were very friendly and professional, and the resort facilities were excellent. It’s a great environment for children, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway.

The location is great, and so many activities are available

The rooms are old, not very clean, furniture and toilet felt outdatedSome activities are not taken care of, like minigolf the golf clubs were broken or wrong clubs used not the ones for minigolf, some holes were not maintained wellOverall it felt like the whole place needs to be renovated and made more up to date.

Beautiful resort with a stunning sea view, well-maintained facilities, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Nothing major. Everything was well organized and enjoyable during our stay.

Location and staff

Down grade their own level by showing some cut down some expenses in food quality and hospitality and welcome service

Facilities and the location. Room was very clean and tidy. Property is very well maintained

Nothing to talk about much. I requested for a late check out just for an hour which was denied. Otherwise everything was good

The location, the resort, the facilities are just amazing.

The staff are not welcoming and looks not interested. The breakfast lacks variety and is not so good quality. The rooms are a bit outdated. But he view from the room seview is nice.

Pool

Room smellsBed not comfortable Food was bad

Location is nice, staff is very friendly and carrying, family rooms with 2 floors are comfortable and spacious

Facilities and rooms need repair work and renovation

Friendly staff, great views

Mildew in the room and irrigation with a horrible smell. Breakfast with long lines. Towels in the room were not replaced everyday.

Staff was very kindfullFamily-friendly resortThe studio rooms and 1 bed room are good for 2 adults and 2 kids with extra beds.Breakfast and dinner are delicious but could be better in diversity. Jet-ski is available for 20 omr 30 minutes.

Resort has a wide range of facilities

Room infrastructure is (getting) old and needs to be renewed Staff coordination is poor, and messages are sometimes lost in between the teams. This also leads to slow resolution of any request or issues

The Ambience is good, Movie for kids was arranged that was nice.

1.The BREKAFAST & DINNER were not too great an experience, specially the DINNER.2. The Response from the Maintenance team was not prompt had to call the reception at least 4-5 times to get the AC Cooling rectified

Fitness and pool.

The food selection in the restaurant was basic-limited.

Room cleaning and interior furniture is not good, We booked for sea view where available only one chair for family. Wash room soaps, lotions etc not provided until next asked to cleaning staff.

Replacement of balcony view chairs and provides minimum required items in wash rooms

Water poolSupport from all team member sRooms are specious Breakfast is nice
