    Pros +

    • Great design, outstanding amenities, awesome landscape. Staff super friendly and helpful
    • The family suite was truly luxurious and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, breakfast was delicious and satisfying, and the pool and saunas were clean, relaxing, and well-maintained.
    • This hotel is a hidden gem located just a short drive from Tbilisi, surrounded by breathtaking views and an atmosphere of complete tranquility. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes the stay even more special. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection.I would especially highlight the kindness and attentiveness of the team – they truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The swimming pool is pleasantly warm and large enough not only for relaxation but also for proper swimming and exercise.Whether you’re looking for a quick one- or two-day getaway or a longer, more peaceful retreat, this place is equally perfect. A wonderful spot to recharge, relax, and enjoy authentic Georgian hospitality.

    Cons -

    • the floor around the pool area can be very slippery and should be addressed for safety.
    • The restaurant was rather expensive, probably due to the lack of competition in the village, and the selection was quite limited. Still, the food was great, even by Tbilisi standards.Water was turned off twice or thrice for about an hour. It's not the best location to travel without a car - you won't be able to walk around the village because of homeless dogs.
    • The restaurant menu could be improved – many of the hot meals weren’t available during my stay (only about three options were offered), and the prices felt a little on the higher side.

It was the best experience during my three years in Georgia. The room was really cozy, with a wonderful view from the windows and a small balcony where Wi-Fi worked well. Cleaning was done every day, and if it wasn’t made during the daytime, staff would come in the evening. The front desk staff were highly professionalThe restaurant was excellent – khachapuri, barbecue, everything was very tasty. Service was great, with no long waiting times: food was served within 10–15 minutes after ordering. Breakfasts - delicious as well. The sauna and jacuzzi were very comfortable. The hotel grounds are not very large, but perfect for a short walk, with many benches to relax on.There’s a grocery store nearby (3-minute walk) where you can buy water, wine, and snacks. Near the store is a stop where minibuses to Tbilisi pick up passengers (5 GEL/2 USD per person).

The restaurant was rather expensive, probably due to the lack of competition in the village, and the selection was quite limited. I really liked the modern and fresh interior of the hotel, the cleanliness, and especially the swimming pool with its beautiful mountain views. The wellness area with the Finnish sauna, steam room, and outdoor jacuzzi was a great addition, and I appreciated that everything was well maintained and included in the stay. The location is also perfect – only about an hour from Tbilisi, making it an easy and relaxing short trip. Also, a special thank you to the staff for surprising me with a free cheesecake on my birthday – that was a lovely touch!

The restaurant menu could be improved – many of the hot meals weren’t available during my stay (only about three options were offered), and the prices felt a little on the higher side.

Truly amazing place. I stayed here with my fiancee for one night, but after visiting all of Georgia we wished to have booked more days here. The place is very cozy, the room was comfortable and silent, with amazing views. But most of all I was impressed by the restaurant. The food was truly exceptional, the wine was amazing, and we had a really private table with nobody nearby. There was a piano near our table that they let me play. And everything was so cheap! They could double the prices in their restaurant and I'll still be happy to eat here.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at Chateau Mephis Kalaki. The atmosphere was peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of charm. I especially appreciated the quiet location and the authentic style of the building—it felt like a step back in time, in the best way. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and unique experience. Hope to come back again soon!

The stay was pleasant and the place is beautiful and quiet. However, there were no bathrobes or toothbrushes in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, everything was great.

Friendly welcome, gorgeous room with a very comfortable bed, spectacular sunset view and a great sauna. Also a well made cappuccino in the morning made by the young waiter.

Dining room a bit lacking in style. In summer sitting outside would be nice.

Beautiful and quiet place. The food in the restaurant was the best we had on our entire trip to Georgia and Armenia.

The outdoor pool was very very cold. There was also a problem with the hot tub witch made it impossible for our kids to swim or even get the feeling they were playing in water witch was the main reason we choose the hotel and the staff didn’t seem to care. The waiters at the restaurant were so bad. Maybe a lot of it was because their English were so bad but also we had to wait for 1,5 hours for food without any information and we got our desserts right in the middle of our leftovers from main cause and when we asked politely if they could move the dirty plates etc they looked at us as if we were stupid and just left

We booked a two-night stay at this place. It's nice, quiet and well protected with security guards at the front gate. There's fantastic Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, a small gym with 3 cardio equipments, and one medium barbell. That area is also well stocked with towels, slippers, gowns. The swimming pool is outdoors so it's closed even in April. The front desk staff are the most helpful and friendly. They are super prompt, and they are literally what made the property worth it. The breakfast is served at your table and there's plenty of food. There is room service as well. There are also good views from the back.We got our room upgraded for the 2 nights and got a front side view. The first day, we arrived at 9:30 and missed the window to order dinner but the restaurant happily made us a salad and khachapuri. Very filling.

The restaurant, even though it says closes at 9:30, was already closed at 9:20. I had to speak to the front desk who asked the kitchen to serve us and so the staff brought the menu and offered only the salad section and the soup section to order. The other items would stay unavailable. Get your dinner sorted by 9pm else you will struggle like us. One of the restaurant staff who waited on us didn't know much English either, so communication was difficult as well. The swimming pool was closed on 20th April so that was disappointing. The room, even though was upgraded for us with city view balcony, felt small for the price. There was balcony so that was good.

An amazing spacious and stylish room with a terrace and a lovely view! It's a quiet and comfortable luxurious resort with great facilities with a pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Personnel is super helpful and friendly, restaurant is delicious, the hotel territory is very beautiful.

The hotel is located in a very interesting area. It’s easy to reach from Tbilisi. Rooms are clean, balconies are specious and amenities are nice.

We visited in off-season. Maybe because of this breakfast and food generally wasn’t the best. Breakfast was especially mediocre. Expected more.

Beautifull, modern, extremly clean place. Family suite is huge with huge balcony, we felt very comfortable. Food at restaurant was very good, the stuff friendly, we had great stay :)

Best food we had during our 12 days Georgian trip. Private spa facilities with hot tub. Big family apartment with balcony and view of mountains. 2 toilets in family suites.

There was absolutely nothing not to like. Though there was a small kitchenette with microwave oven etc but there was no cutlery or salt pepper oil. Seemed strange .We didn’t cook. We received room service with cutlery plates everything etc.

Big spacious roomClean rooms Nice view

No hot water in the presidential suiteI was made to pay for breakfast even though I booked with breakfast. Before I arrived, I requested halaal breakfast, and the hotel confirmed that this will be organized. No halaal breakfast was provided, but I was still forced to pay for it on check out.
