- I always return to Ela Beach Hotel. Aside from lovely staff+ great service, it has beautiful outdoor areas, option for balcony's and I feel secure there. I am frequently in PNG, so these things are important to me.
- Good service. Room standard was a pleasant surprise and for the first time of many years of travel to PNG and staying in Hotels, I felt like I got value for money.
Cons -
- The once famous Ela Beach across the road is no more. It is the site of major construction and earth works in preparation for APEC. You can not even see the ocean any more from the hotel. Be upfront with the guests before booking when it claims views
