Vasia Ormos Hotel (Adults Only)

The service was absolutely perfect. Every time we needed something, our requests were met with genuine kindness and a smile.The cleanliness of both the hotel and the room – spotless and fresh every time.The pool is deep, well-maintained, and surrounded by new, comfortable sunbeds.The nearby bay beach is quiet and beautiful, with sandy access and cozy loungers.And the breakfast? Simply indulgent – delicious, varied, and served with a breathtaking view.There’s also a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient for anything we needed during our stay.

The center of Agios Nikolaos is about a 30-minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively, a short taxi ride costs around €8 each way — not a major inconvenience, but something to consider.

Nice, clean, modern hotel with a great stuff working there. The food was really tasty. The rooms are spacious with balconies. Reception works 24 hours. There is also a lunch bar with a great view.

The hotel doesn’t actually have a beach. There is a small boat bay. There are 8 pairs of sun beds, so you are struggling to find a space, especially when some guest just leave their towels to reserve a place and leave for hours. There are loads of anchors in the shallow, also occasional rocks. So you have to be careful swimming and watch your steps. Also the hotel doesn’t provide drinking water bottles. You need to buy them or go to the local supermarket to get some. A glass of water given during the breakfast/dinner is free though.

There weren't many vegan options on both breakfast and dinner (though the staff was very nice and really tried to help). The shower's water pressure is not so good

Room was clean and bed was confortable. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Unclear whether it was a 4-star hotel, as advertised in booking.com.The bathroom needed a renovation; the water pressure of the shower was low, the toilet flush tank took several minutes to refill and the flush button was detached from the wall. The tiles were also old, mouldy and not well aligned.There were almost no amenities (shampoo, conditioner, etc.).Even though we paid for a sea view room, it was mostly facing the parking lot.

Fabulous hotel, exceeded our expectations. We were due to arrive early afternoon but our ferry was delayed meaning we arrived late in the evening - we had a meal waiting for us upon arrival which was ace. Staff are friendly and really helpful. Cleaners do a tremendous job and kept the room spotless.

Very helpful staff and rooms were perfectly adequate

The food left much to be desired, especially the buffet supper (which was made more disappointing by the close time of 9 pm). The bartender was unable to make a basic aperol spritz and food at the pool snack bar was far more expensive and of a poorer quality than the beach club down the road.

I did not like very much the beach, it was quite small, maybe 6 umbrellas ....unfortunatelly there was quite small pool as well with regard to the number of visitors

Hotel facilities

The hotel is absolutely not worse its price.We could not even take a proper shower. Water was turning from extremely hot to extremely cold.The Air conditionner started making some noises as soon as we pushed the power. We called the reception who sent a guy to our room and ended up saying " this is normal , put on low power "The mini bar worked 1 day on 2.Last but not least, food is absolutely not tasty nor qualitative. A lot of chemical food and a breakfast with a narrow choice.Dessert all industrial.In a nutshell, extremely disappointing.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! The staff were so friendly (particularly the receptionist and the gardener's son - sorry didn't get names!). Nothing was too much trouble for anyone to help. The pools were clean and always managed to get a sunbed. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Rooms were cleaned daily which was great. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

A little walk into town (25/30 mins) which we didn't mind but again taxis available if needed so not an issue for us.

The hotel was in a good location, lovely reception area and is only short walk from the main harbor area restaurants. Staff greeted us with a swift and friendly arrival. Room was lovely with a sea view. Lovely walk in shower and bathroom. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, have a walk about and find the other one (round the corner of the snack bar) Christina our house lady, kept our room spotless. She made me smile with the towel art work on the bed most days. Thank you!

A few little niggles, The hotel doesn't have a lift so if your elderly ask for a ground floor room. The staff do offer to carry your bags up the stairs if needed. Breakfast I found stressful whatever time I arrived the orange juice jugs where empty and never any glasses. I asked for these on quite a few mornings during our stay. Maybe they hotel need to address this niggle and purchase more glasses or employ more staff to refill/wash more often.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a 20 min walk into the centre of Agios, with bars/ tavernas along the way. Just 2 mins from reception to the bus stop 1 way into Elounda/Plaka and Agios the other direction.Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the staff so friendly and courteous.Buffet breakfast had everything anyone could wish for hot and cold, and all the fresh fruit very fresh.Our room was bright and airy with a large sofa and sea/ car park view from the balcony with plenty to watch over a cup of coffee/wine.The communal areas were modern and welcoming.

Breakfast could have gone on to 10.30 am which is still 8.30 am in England …. it felt too early to eat for first 3 days or so

Rooms were clean and well maintained.Pool area had lots of space and sunbeds.Daytime bar area was very good with good choice of food and drink.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Food in the self service restaurant was ok but not great.One waitress in particular was very grumpy - everyday!! Which is a shame because most of them were excellant.Bit too far to walk back from town in the evening but taxi's were cheap.

Beautiful location and decor . Light and airy and the staff were friendly and attentive . We will definitely book to stay again .

Staff were super friendly and helpful. We actually arrived 2 hours before we were supposed to but the room was ready. The hotel itself was very quiet and a relaxed feel about it. It's outside of the main town so very quiet.

There's a playground out the front of the hotel that the local school use for play. We paid extra for the sea-view so out window was right by the playground. We booked an adults only because we're miserable and old!

The best staff! So polite ? we felt very welcomed there! Also great interior
