Trip Motel Gatton

Freshness, clean and damn comfortable. Manager very friendly and helpful. Meals to room fabulous hot and on time- beautifully cooked too. Our little pooch welcome also. Pet friendly rooms normally below standard - definately not the case here!! Thank you

We were in the disabled unit . The bathroom was well fitted and we were very comfortable. The location was nice - over the road from the information centre and a nice park with a lake and walking track.

The bar stools at the table/counter were not very comfortable.

The Unit is tastefully furnished and well equipped. For a disabled person it was easy to move around and the bathroom was quite comfortable for a disabled person

Our only complaint was the comfort of the bed. It was a little hard for someone with sore joints.

Clean, free laundry, 2 suitcase stands, good coffee choice. Easy access. Insulated against noise

Overhead lighting was not sectioned, so all lights on at once. Not able to read in seating area without bright lights on. Mattresses sagged, need to be rotated.

We have stayed in this motel before and we have always paid a little extra for a king room. I forgot that when I was booking so we had a standard room, which is very compact and probably not ideal for 2 people for more than one night. However, all the other things we like about this motel were the same. The owner is very friendly.

Small room - will book the larger room next time!

Beds were comfortable and room was neat and tidy. Lots of little extras provided which were a treat. Location was ideal for us.

Our air con was a little temperamental but we got it working.

Great Breakfast & friendly people. Fan in the Bathroom would be good.

Good location, comfortable beds, spacious room. The kitchenette was well equipped and the free toiletries were appreciated. The extra blankets and pillows were also appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Lockyer Valley travel guide in reception was helpful and the guest service guide had lots of great information about the motel and the area in general.

Cleanliness wasn't great, sticky bench tops, cobwebs under bedside tables, dust everywhere. Water damage to the carpet because the shower head was broken and kept spraying water out of the bathroom. No screens on luvre style windows means lots of bugs and extra noise. The morning tradie wake up and drive off was very disruptive. Can't help but think proper sealing windows would reduce that a lot. The carpark is tight. The A/C in our room was very noisy and clearly in need of a clean and service. Both the A/C and TV remotes needed new batteries.

We loved the location close to the parkland.The motel has a nice modern feel to it.It was very friendly but of course Gatton is generally a very friendly town.

Great place to stay. Very nice rooms and location. Great staff.

Great location suited us as travelling on to Kingscliff. Just what we wanted , comfortable bed and great TV and kitchen facilities.,

Liked it was just across road from Parkrun. Had meal options close as well. Great it had foxtell tv was huge. Bathroom plenty of room and it had a little line for my running gear. People very friendly

Maybe a door on shower as I got floor wet. Only one wine glass and one Champaign glass and bottom shelf was missing guard to keep milk and juice in

Clean, modern, lots of old school tea, coffee and snacks. Staff are lovely!!

Overall comfort, location and kitchenette

Cleaner out sink in correct way. Turned tap on and water went everywhere as didn’t notice and didn’t think would be upside down. Draw in kitchen wouldn’t stay closed.

It was convenient for what I needed.

The door to the room refused to lock unless putting some muscle into it. At night it was quite noisy and could have disturbed other guests.

Everything about my stay was awesome. I had looked at a few places to stay in the Gatton area & this looked to be the best option for me. I booked for 3 weeks so I really hoped it was going to be a nice place to stay, Upon arriving I checked in & found the managers to be super polite & helpful. The site was extremely clean & well presented, my room was spotless & had everything that I needed for my stay.The housekeeping team were also very polite & friendly & nothing was ever an issue.There is free to use washing machines & dryers on site (including washing powder) Food is also available delivered to your room. Keep up the amazing work that you do, thanks for having me & can't waiting to stay again next year!!

As soon as you opened the door, there was a lovely fresh aroma. The room was absolutely beautiful, the amenities were spotlessly clean n fresh. Highly recommend The Trip motel. Will definitely be staying there again when going t Gatton.. ??
