Pros +
- Quiet plenty of wild life parking outside accommodation.
- Spacious room. Lovely to walk just outside and watch the roos feeding. Convenient for where we needed to go.
- The room was quite spacious. Bathroom well appointed… great shower!
Cons -
- Told Gate close at 9pm but was shut at 8:22 when returned, had code for key pad but heavy rain small didgets didn't work.
- The pillows were hard and lumpy. Air conditioner needed servicing as it made a loud whirring sound. The reception was not initially staffed at both Check in and departure . Being a “resort” I would have thought a restaurant or bistro would have been open for dinner. It wasn’t. The bar also closed at 5pm. (The closest venue was a 14klm drive).
- Air conditioner made so much noise had to turn it off. Other guests we shared block 3 with partied until early hours of the morning. Very noisy.

Enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. Staff were friendly. A map in room to help find the restaurant would have been helpful. Map provided didn’t mention it. Arrived after reception closing time staff on after hours assistance line we friendly and helpful.

The quietness and the location absolutely stunning. The restaurant was lovely with great staff.
We had a whistling noise in our room overnight. We thought it was our A/C, however the next morning we found one of the upper windows had been left very slightly open causing the constant whistle. We were not able to see or speak to anyone on check out, even though we didn't leave until 9.30am
The bar staff/waitress. The meal was very nice.
I was unable to find reception in the dark. The room with a view has no view. There was 1 teabag

Very friendly staffClean and private facilities
Front gate didn’t open properly making it tricky to get in.
The golf course was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean.
The first Room allocated was incorrect on arrival (twin) ? and then the second room didn’t have a view as booked. There is only a bistro type restaurant no fine dining if you are staying. Would have to go offsite for a restaurant without kids play area etc. This was disappointing as it was our wedding anniversary and Riverside Oaks was our wedding venue.
Good location - comfortable and clean room.
Breakfast was included but we had to buy our own drink/s, ie. juice, coffee.
it was a secluded and quiet location ! wish we had more time to explore and play golf. The breakfast included was amazing as well as the wildlife around.
The reception, there is barely reception in that area. Our bathroom toilet kept making noises the whole time we were there but didn’t bother us too much as you close the door couldn’t hear it much.
Pleasant
Room was not cleaned. Room swipe card still left from previous stay. Fridge still had left over food and drink.
The staff were great. The rest of the stay was hugely disappointing.
Bar and restaurant closed early (3pm). The huge common area in the accommodation building was pretty useless - a sink, a table and a microwave and loads of wasted space. We asked about some takeaway beer- with a 15% discount, it was going to cost $180 for a case!Went for breakfast at 7:30am to be told the chef had not arrived. We finally ate at 8:45am!
nothing Comes to mind
We paid for breakfast but there was no kitchen staff. Amazed we had to pay for breakfast coffee as well. The noise from upstairs guests walking around was intolerable as was the noise from the lodge communal lounge from a group of male golfers.
This is a quiet golf course type of property with nice big, comfortable rooms. They offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. The good was reasonable but nothing exceptional. Staff are helpful to a certain degree but could have a better customer service attitude.
The fire alarm in the room across the hall was beeping rather loudly - one of our party had to be moved out of that room. My friend had to do this all on her own without assistance from a member of staff. I then had to call to have the alarm removed as we could hear it from our room.
Loved the scenery and the wildlife. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing.
Nice room and decor
Upon arrival the reception was difficult to find and when I found the makeshift desk the staff member wasn’t very friendly or informative. When we arrived at our room I tried to call reception with a query but nobody answered. It was in the middle of nowhere and there was no mini bar or even a vending machine.
Very clean, breakfast included
Bit far away from shops etc
SUNDAY check in to thank the reception girl Ms.TAYLA's friendly and professional service of attitude made us very satisfied with our stay. Also we are very grateful to the Asian staff on duty at 7+ o’clock in the evening to help solve the air-conditioning in the room and the coffee is not enough milk to help put up at that hour. We are very grateful the staffs to be active and considerate for the guests’ requests. Thank you)During the holidays, the cleanliness of the rooms is very satisfactory. The surrounding environment of the resort is very comfortable. recommended to play golf on your vacation or just a short trip away from the city is a great idea.Property and room need abit more and harder work for the maintenance.
Reception staff lovely we had a problem with a fridge in our room promptly changed our room and enjoyed our room...Thank you!Pro Shop staff very kind and we loved playing golf for two days..
The staff at the bar/bistro very rude during our dinner Saturday night and it seemed like they didn't want to be there..Even asking for a bucket of Ice to take to our room ( which we were told by Reception to ask for) the lady behind the bar huffed and puffed firstly said no...and then as if it was a huge inconvenience gave us one ..If you want to work in hospitality be hospitable..The lady needs some training..
