Club Old Bar Motel

Clean, good sized room, free parking, nice backyard from grond floor rooms. It can easily compete with hotels.

A lovely small motel complex with plenty of parking and located right next to a small Club. Some alternative restaurants and a Coles supermarket were in walking distance from the motel. We were there for just one night en route to Sydney. Old Bar is a tiny town with character. We dined that evening at a Thai restaurant called "Sai Thai Table and Tea" which was in walking distance from the motel. Food and service there were excellent. A basic Continental Breakfast can be provided by the motel at a cost.

Although nothing ruined our stay it would have been beneficial to have had a security fly screen door to the balcony to allow the balcony door to remain open over night. We prefer not to sleep with an air-conditioner operating. A three ply toilet paper would be a bonus.

Club Old Bar motel is our go to place every time we travel to the area. Guy, the motel manager is so friendly and has been so wonderful to us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else but here as the rooms are so clean. Highly recommended to all guests

Quite, clean, close to village, good accessible features.

Being reliant on a wheelchair & crutches found doors difficult to hold open. Needs towel racks in bathroom and table/shelf for placing clothes. ⁸

Very comfortable accommodation handy to the club where the service, meals and beverages were excellent.

Modern self check in ✔️ was very convenient. Having a door code sent to you prior to arrival. instead of trying to get keys or cards, you can turn up after hrs at ease.

Room was big and bed was comfy. Short walk to the main street and not too far from the beach. Members card for the club next door was provided so guests get members prices. Great stay and would definitely stay again!

The room was perfect, super new and fresh and exceeded our expectations. The staff were really helpful and lovely at all times during the stay. The location was ideal with close proximity to the main street and the beach.

Spacious, clean, new facility, very convenient to everything needed for an overnight stay.

This is property we have visited multiple times. It is reliably clean and well run. We visit for birdwatching in Saltwater National Park.

The outlook from this particular room was a bit limited, but we have had nice outlooks from other rooms on previous visits.

The bed was insanely comfortable and big enough for me my husband and our toddler! Bathroom is nice and spacious! Check in was seamless with a code texted to you!

The room was beautifully decorated. It was a short walk to the shops and there was a club with a restaurant next door.

No lift but that was ok for me.

A big surprise, never been here before and just stopped on the way through on a road trip. Was amazing to find this place, lovely, clean quiet. Great location and whilst we only had time for a look at the beach it really looked like a lovely spot. Will be back

Loved the check in/check out process! So easy. The staff were wonderfully helpful. The room was modern and very clean with a great shower!

The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, registration was easy, close to shops in town.

Easy to find. Was sent a text with the code for the front door and room. Room was large and had everything we needed. The towels were large ( one of my pet hates when they are too small!) and the bed very comfortable . Excellent stay, will certainly be back.

No lift so it was a struggle to get up the stairs with a heavy case and multiple bags The door code to the room took several attempts before it worked

A lovely motel, very stylish and modern and well planned. We had an executive room upstairs with a arge bedroom and bathroom, and a covered balcony where you could sit and enjoy a coffee from the coffee machine. There is a huge sliding glass door to the.balcony.. There was no fly screen but we weren’t bothered with any bugs.The “kitchen” facilities were nicely planned, as is the whole place. It is classy, and beautifully decorated with gorgeous abstract art, and beautiful furnishings - obviously they have used an interior decorator and it shows. Plenty of parking outside, comfortable bed, huge shower with lots of hot water. Quality bathroom products.It is a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and just a short walk across the car parks to the Old Club Bar where you can get pub type food, which was OK but next time we’ll go back into the town to the lovely Thai restaurant, assuming it’s still there.All communication with staff is via text, and uses codes for entry. It went seamlessly enough.This is a cut above the usual motel fare, you pay for it but it’s worth it.

The bathroom tap was a bit stiff - may need valve replacement. The only issue that they some people might find, is that they don’t really encourage eating in the room in as much as that there is only one inside chair, a small round table, no toaster or microwave or any crockery apart from cups and saucers.
