The Med Crescent Head

It is conveniently located at Crescent Head which is where we wanted to stay.

The container-converted 2-bedroom felt much more squeezing than it looked. The bunk bed screeched on every single movement. The bathroom lacks privacy with door looking right through the front door to the outside, and windows with clear glasses which can be looked through from the container upstairs. TV existed but didn’t really work (functionally and in usability). Contact number on booking didn’t work; had to look up from google.

Nicely decorated. V comfortable and spacious. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to dinner.

Good location and quiet

Had an issue with the internet however staff kindly moved us to another room which was fine .

Gorgeous place, the room was huge, decor stunning and was spotless ! Loved the coffee pods , free snacks too! If I had more time I would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the pool and facilities.

A little pricey but I did have the larger room as other were booked, was still worth it.

Very little. MED is advertised as a hotel. There was no bar and no dining facilities and breakfast not provided/ offered.Our room was a glorified shipping container, 2 small bedrooms with no bedside tables, a very tiny bathroom that had no facility to store your bath accessories. A plastic blind to keep bad weather at bay was marked NOT to be undone.It was well overpriced at $292 per night.Would I stay again or recommend it? Not great..?‍♂️?

The noise at night time coming from the restaurant I thought was a bit much. The kids running wild in that pool area - unsupervised!! When I left in the morning, someone had stuffed a glass under my tyre. So when I reversed, it shattered!! Was very lucky not to have a flat tyre! Need to look into the situation with the restaurant- not everybody wants to party? Some peace and quiet would have been nice..

We were surprised that we had the Penthouse. Very spacious and clean.

We unfortunately had a loud group of people that kept us awake most of the night/morning within the complex. Noise from restaurant down stairs, slamming of bins, cleaning mats etc until late at night.

Location and decor inside the room

There is no gym. There is a small shipping container with 2x 10kg dumbbells, 2x 5kg dumbbells and a cross trainer that does not work! You cannot advertise that as a gym. The pool chair covers are mouldy and the pool needed cleaning. Guests were scooping out leaves etc. The pool is dated which was fine although at least twice a day a minimum of 10 local teenagers visit the modest size pool and although just having fun take over the entire area leaving guests to wait until they have finished their pool party to use it. This happened all three days we were there. The cleaner asks guests if they want the room cleaned - we felt as though we had to say no because she was so busy.

Close walk to beach and shops.

We stayed in the lower container and it it’s extremely squishy. Not one single table or bedside table inside. Only table is at the outside/undercover living room space. Also second bedroom was missing a TV remote and receptionist was in no hurry to assist.

Lovely vibe and location. The cleaners are very helpful and the pool is nice and relaxing.

The container 2 bed unit was very small with no cooking facility other than a microwave, however the bbq area outside is nice to cook at and the container did have a large fridge. A bbq in the container garden/porch area would be a wonderful improvement as would some bedside shelf’s & lights as well as storage solutions for ‘tiny’ homes. Lovely place to stay however we would not stay in the container ‘family’ unit again but rather the main motel family suite.

Good location and the rooms were nicely done up. Complimentary chocolates were a nice touch

Great vibe - short walk to town - very cute functional room with comfy bed.

The room was spacious and clean and had all the basics you needed. The location was great.

The shower screen wasn’t wide enough therefore water was all over bathroom floor every time you showered. The bed was uncomfortable. It was very noisey due to inconsiderate guests with their kids outside at 5:50am the first day and then 6am the second day. Interconnecting rooms were noisey and the sound travelled. I’d recommend rooms 11 or 12. The price for 2 nights was a bit hefty. I wouldn’t go back there to stay.

Few minute walk into main part of town. Comfy beds, large room, good facilities, friendly staff.

Close to the beach and town, Facilities were great such as the BBQ area and gym

The family room was small ( 2 shipping containers) Couldn't step out of bed and had slide out as there is no room on either side, There no lounge room as such do if you woke up first you couldn't go anywhere ( the lounge/sitting area was outside which is silly as t was rainy and cold). Poorly designed.. Ok for an overnight stay but not longer

The accommodation was clean and comfortable.

We were given an accessibility room and the bathroom became a bit like a swimming pool when you had a shower as water ran towards the drain in the middle of the room (this made other areas of the bathroom near toilet and the sink slippery).

It said there were snacks but not sure where they were!

Pool wasn’t heated, restaurant was closed for winter said it would be open in spring but on Sept 30 still not open

Not to much.

Both bed lamps didn’t work and went down stairs to find someone and NO ONE COULD BE FOUND 8.00 at night
