    • The room was modern, clean and very well soundproofed. It was eady to gain access to after hours and it had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

    Cons -

    • The hot shower didn't work. Had to use another room for showering. The bed was ok. Road traffic noise.
    • The bed was a little soft for our liking. The location was in an industrial estate on the edge of winery territory but no views to speak of.
    • torn net curtains and general tired look needs attention

We booked this overnighter to break up a drive from the NSW coast to regional Victoria and could not have been happier with the location, room and price! The modern bathroom with walk-in shower was heavenly after many days camping and the room was air-conditioned and comfortable.

Having my dog in my room. Dog park across the road. Bed was comfortable.

    Shower lost pressure on hot.

The room was lovely and the staff so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked, but still good. It would be great if the rooms were serviced every day. Mugs for tea and coffee instead of cups and saucers. Lastly my partner commented on the need for a small writing desk. And I know it is fashionable; but the "log" for a bedside table was too small and too heavy to move. The other unusual thing was on our second day our entry cards didn't work and we had to call the 24-hour assistance line (as reception was unattended after 6.00pm) to reinstate our access to our room. Phew! They were really helpful.

Good having a kitchen and lounge

The walls in the hallway are quite knocked around and arm of one of the armchairs was broken

Excellent for us in every way and perfect location to visit Canberra, but still close to the M31Breakfast, provided at a nearby cafe was also amazing

    Nothing to duslike

Great location and rooms clean and comfortable, very quiet

Bed was a little too soft

    Clean room, good parking

Communal kitchen was not always available because of conference. The only nearby restaurant at night was a fairly basic pub.

Clean, spacious and modern room. Easy parking.

Noise of trucks through the night from the highway.

    1BarryPosted on: 2-10-2026

The room was clean but there was no kettle or tea and coffee facilities in the room and for an elderly couple there was a small step into the bathroom which is not acceptable. There were no bedside tables only a block of wood which again is not good for elderly. No way to sit other than the bed again elderly people need a chair as well as table and chairs. Won’t be staying there again. Have stayed in a boats in Canberra much better accommodation. This was more like a backpackers accommodation.

Tea and coffee in the room table and chairs in the room and a chair to sit in. Also being able to walk straight into the bathroom instead of a small step which is a trip hazard.

We love the clean cosy feel to the room with easy access to outdoors for our Yorkie. It means so much to us that business owners are supportive of guest with pets and it is rare to find pet friendly accom of this standard.

We have only good things to say about the venue. We hope other pet owners can continue to enjoy it. A plea to those pet owners who let their dogs out off leash, that this can impact on less confident pets and their owners.

    Everything was good

Good location, great common kitchen to use that is fully equipped. Comfortable beds and it is great that it is pet friendly.

I did like the shared kitchen facilities - really like the concept. The bathroom was clean and i liked it that you could borrow the bikes for free. Loved the a/c! The man that was there when we checked in was super pleasant and informative. The location to the pub and cafe was within walking distance which was convenient. I loved it that it was a pet friendly property - very hard to come by even though we didnt have pets but the other guests brought theirs.

There was a strong chemical smell when we walked into the room. We had to pump the a/c and have the fan in the bathroom going with the bathroom door open all night to try and get the smell out. It was as if they just chemically sprayed the room. On our second night we found a cockroach in our room. We flushed it down the toilet. There was no complimentary late check out - if we wanted to check out at 11am, we had to pay an extra $20. There was only one bottle of water in the fridge but there was two of us…..should really be one bottle per guest per room. The bed was comfy at first but after waking up the first night, we both had sore backs. The mature lady at check out could’ve been more pleasant but she seemed more concerned at her computer screen than actually looking at us when we spoke to her or said farewell. If ppl driving into the car park aren’t careful (drive in super slow), they could damage their car as the gutter is deeper than normal. At least have some yellow lines on the gutter to warn drivers. The torch in the room should have its battery replaced in case of emergency.

Nice, clean and comfortable room with a large bed. Appreciated the pantry area which was great for buying snacks for the road. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly.

The traffic on the nearby main road was noisy at times.

Great location usually the rooms are nice and clean beds comfortable and very quiet great coffee shop across the Rd and pet friendly pup for dinner

Came through in Dec,( on way to QLD) room had pet stains and smelt mildly of pets, which considering the extremely expensive'$50 pet fee' .higher than anywhere else I've stayed...should be clean and fresh prior to next guest.I did tell reception, but all I got was ' carpet is being shampooed next week!!... consequently either a pet refund or room change should have been offered. Had the same room on way back and I noticed the carpets were cleaner so have been shampooed. Also the garden areas have been totally neglected, weeds are over a foot high ( 30 cms) no real grass outside of terrace rooms. This is a complete contrast to the first few times I stayed here a couple of years ago...shame there is no obvious attempt to maintain the outside The hotel must have litres of grey water which could/ should be diverted to maintain the gardens...I fully understand drought conditions as live on property, but there are lots of alternatives.
