    Cons -

    • Unable to watch tv as it had continual buffering or freezing, so husband was very grumpy. Arrived after 5pm so too late to buy data. Feel that at over $350 a night wifi should come free! Kitchen window needed a blind to keep out westerly sun and heat. A fan for venting bathroom would help. Shower water very slow to drain away. Cleaners need to vacuum the couch properly as lots of crumbs and dust between seat cushions.
    • Weren't told their was no hotplates in cabin 25, and no pots in the community kitchen, the jumping pillow was not working and didn't know the paddle cart were broken. Was disappointing for our grand sons.
    • Inconsiderate staff talking to 2 lads on our doorstep, if I wanted to hear this I would have booked a holiday next to a pub. Perhaps they could have cut the convo short, or considered others? Not a great start to a relaxing break.

Fantastic location and holiday park. We had a sea view apartment and had everything we needed and the few extra touches were much appreciated. Would love to go back sometime!

    Location great

Young people on push bikes in front of step-down from cabins; blind corner for rider and guests

Location, weather, beach beautiful and the friendly staff some with foreign tongues and accent makes for an interesting stay!

No cooking utensils in the communal kitchen

Jodi was excellent on the phone securing a cabin for our sleeping configuration. The number plate recognition gate worked well and gave a sense of security. Grounds and all areas we went to were spotless. Wifi purchase was easy. Surroundings were beautiful....perfect for a beach wedding! Bird life amazing. Sunsets epic.

Overpriced for cabins (I don't know what camp sites cost).

Good until leaving, when I approached the front desk to hand in key and ask a question staff members

Staff on front desk on Monday morning the attitude was appalling.

I’ve and close to the beach and also has a lagoon at high tide for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.

Quite far from towns so make sure you take everything for meals

Customer service was warm and welcoming.

Cabins are a little old and small for the price you pay.

Location was great. Clean communal facilities. Really good pillows.

Could have done with aircon in the rooms, it was really hot. And perhaps it would have been handy if the reception/shop was open later than 5pm, for those last minute dinner needs as there are no shops nearby. (They would have made a killing on Icecream sales)

We absolutely loved the river that leads to the beach. It was very safe for our small kids and it was stunning. Our self-contained cabinet was comfortable.

    Proximity to the beach

Hot plate in cabin was slow, used communal kitchen

    The bed was comfortable

Room was dirty. Mark on inside of pocket in bathroom. 2nd time I've stayed and couldn't cook breakfast on very old elecents that we waited an hour to heat. We even downloaded the instruction manuel. For $500+ dollars to stay, for 2 nights, i shouldn't have to use the camp kitchen. They need replacing or i need to bring my own gas stove . Overall I love pakiri it my whenua, I have always had a great stay at the campground but the cooking facilities need updating.

The beach front cabins are exceptional and the place is always clean with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay.

There is nothing nagative about this beautiful campsite.

Staff were great, called to check arrival time and let us check in later. Was super easy.

No proper link to the beach or closer access.

A beautiful location and friendly and welcoming staff. Everything was kept spotlessly clean. Wholeheartedly recommend for a family-friendly camping/ holiday park.

The view from our small cottage was spot on.

unfortunately the fold out couch was not comfortable . But they were very helpful to sort for us.
