Pros +
- Quite. Staff very friendly.
- The room was spotless, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the property really stood out. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and enjoying the calm atmosphere was such a highlight.
- Breakfast was adequate although the coffee machine use could help with some instruction (Bullet point how-to guide) and I could not find hot water for tea.
Cons -
- Air condition on the wall but not allowed to use it, dirty tea towels and dishes, dirty fridge. Most ridiculous of all: not allowed to consume your own alcoholic drinks - if you will, you are going to be additionally charged for it!!
- Nothing major, only that we wished we could have stayed longer.

Wish we had’ve been able to experience more of the facilities as this was an emergency last minute booking due to our camp set up getting destroyed by bad weather. The room was spacious, warm, clean and the bed was comfy! Lovely to wake to cows mooing nearby ❤️Thanks so much for saving our saturated and cold butts
Great location. Great plunge pool. Lovely apartment
Checking in was a pain! There was no one in reception and no one was answering any of the phones. Quite stressful when you’ve had a long drive
The room was spacious and very clean. We loved the view and the fan and the infinity pool was magical. Our one night stay was super relaxing. We met amazing guests here.
It was an unusual property. There were luxury features like the pool but we struggled to get the bbq working. Arriving from Mollymook, we had to pass the property and do a U-turn at Bendalong Road.
Breakfast fine . Slippery when wet going to our room
No chairs . Lots of stairs
Continental Breakfast was great. Bed very comfy!
Better directions to property is needed.
Staff very welcoming & helpful Accommodation clean & comfortable.
The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable and satisfying. When you wake up in the morning, the air is so fresh that you can start a pleasant day.
There were no outdoor tables and chairs in the barbecue space, so there was inconvenience of moving around the restaurant table, and there were restaurants and bars, but it was a pity that if there was no food brought because it was not open, you had to drive for more than 20 minutes to find a restaurant.
Rude owner, not welcoming or appreciative at all
We have called property before booking to confirm we it can accommodate our entire family. Property in the middle of nowhere, room was not ready on check in time. The owner greeted us in the morning with baseless accusations. We will never return there and advise others to stay away.
Clean and neat
Booking.com puts location at Manyana and it’s not actually in Manyana, location, and too expensive.
Location was great not far from many beaches ,water falls. Light breakfast but really good
Have nothing to say
Quiet location , beautiful greenness everywhere , lake view , clean immaculate room , proper kitchen ,king bed ,great breakfast even the real wooden floor boards !!
Pros:- Friendly staff- Nice view- Super comfortable bed- Clean
Cons:- I feel it was misadvertised, the place should be clearly advertised as a motel, not a retreat.- It should also clearly state when booking that there is 24 hour check-in available, this would have prevented stressing because it says the front desk is only open 2-6pm. - Breakfast was very basic, just different types of packaged carbs and milk. Some fresh fruit really would have been a game changer. - Given that breakfast was just bread/muffins/cereal left out on a bench, I don't get why it's only available from 7:30-9am. Seems like it's just to limit people from eating it? - Rooms are quite small and you can hear everything from neigbours.- Shocking value for money (we paid $320 a night, I assume due to it being Easter). This still seems extortionate given you can book 5* accomodation at the Intercontinental in Sydney for this price in June. Overall, if I knew what I was booking and we hadn't paid $300 a night, I would actually rate this place quite well. Unfortunately we were left a bit disappointed due to expecting a country retreat, ha ha.
My stay at Sinclairs Country Retreat was largely enjoyable, reflected by a rating of 8 out of 10, which underscores the retreat's appealing qualities such as its cleanliness, which I rated very highly. The facility, value for money, location, and beds also contributed positively, each receiving commendations for meeting my expectations, indicating a satisfactory level of comfort and amenities that made my stay enjoyable. The overall vibe of Sinclair's Country Retreat was particularly appealing, characterized by a nice and quiet neighbourhood. This aspect, along with its reputation as a safe, touristy, and family-friendly location, played a significant role in my positive experience. The environment provided a serene backdrop conducive to relaxation and enjoyment during my stay.
While my experience at Sinclairs Country Retreat was largely positive, the staff and comfort levels did not fully meet my expectations. I rated the staff as neutral, indicating that while there were no major issues, the service did not particularly stand out in terms of warmth or hospitality, which could have enhanced my stay. The comfort level was also rated neutrally, suggesting room for improvement in this area. This rating reflects my feeling that, although the retreat was generally pleasant, aspects of the physical comfort within the accommodation—potentially including room ergonomics or furnishings—did not fully reach the level of satisfaction I had hoped for during my visit.

I didn't like it, because I paid Booking the cost of the stay of 230 dollars, at the reception I was charged another 150 dollars. In other words, there were irregularities.
The breakfast was fresh and generous. The room where it is served is spacious and clean.
Having people walking right in front of our bedroom window.
Practical clean modern room
Paper thin walls so we could hear peoples conversations in the adjoining rooms.
Very quiet and peaceful area. Room was spotless, bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was perfect to cool off on a hot day. I would definitely stay again.
