The Highlander Motel - 24HR Check In

The people running the Motel were very helpful and readily available when needed

it was cheap and convienent

parking. we parked out the back other wise we could net get in or out in the space provided

From the ease of 24hr check in to newly rennervated rooms with all that you will need.Communication from owners was spot on For business, wifi was excellent and a spacious area for those work needs. Very comfortable setting and highly recommend.Close to Town with all the services that you will need from shops and restaurant.Tim Tam in the fridge was a nice touch.

The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable

Not good for a disabled person like me, I could not take my walker in to the room, steps was hard for me

The room was clean just like last time. This room was very quiet with no road noise, just what I needed after a long drive.

Nothing to dislike

very central location, newly renovated, clean rooms with great TV and , electric blankets and air con, super clean modern bathroom . plenty of spacious car parking, close to supermarkets and and Coiltek for gold detecting supplies

Property was good. Visible that it’s getting works done. It’ll look good once completed.Only suggestion would be considering on a main road, maybe some fencing along the property and road. Just as a safety measure

Well situated for our travel plans.Clean. Great shower facilities.

Noisy people/TV in room next door. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

Like that you can check in any time on your own, good location, car park was under cover, had microwave, fridge, tv, toaster & split system.

Little bit dusty, particularly the carpet under the bed

The bed was very uncomfortable. Had a very bad night, people are loud till late in the other rooms. We had to asked for another set of pillows as there was only 1 pair. There was no cupboard to store your clothes, no towel rails. No soap holder in the shower. But I give them the benefit of a doubt because they are under new management and renovating. But still!!!

Very small for the price, also paid for the upgraded room but this was right next to the road so had that noise.The check-in process is excellentWhy do places only provide 2 pillows on a queen bed.Some people need two pillows

Average for money. Ants over the kettle, sink and table

No Reception - Had to Phone for Security Access.Even then had problems.

Location was excellent and very quiet. Manager was very helpful and friendly with a request to change the room due to an extra step to access the room

Nothing is needed to improve the quality of the motel

Room was clean. In a quiet area. Easy to locate. Comfortable bed.

Main room was very small. Bathroom even more so.

It was quiet. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. Location was ok.

The toilet bowl was not cleaned. evidence of previous tennant. No bottled water. Maryborough is notorious for poor tap water quality. A cockroach crawled over our bed. It was a very hot day, the window was open, air con had not been put on prior to our arrival and there was a large gap under the door that we covered with a towel to prevent insects the hot air etc from coming in. A large window on the west side did not have the blind lowered to keep the room cooler prior to our arrival. There were no extra pillows.

Stains on the chairs

24h check in was great! Had cold water ready for us on arrival along with coffees, was amazing.
