Great country style pub , clean modern bathroom & toilet facilities , comfortable beds , clean room. The owners are lovely and very accomodating. We will be back for another visit !

Liam, Janette & Jen were brilliant, couldn't have asked for a friendlier bunch of staff/owners. They were currently in a handover to become the owners and hearing their plans and vision for the place, once they're in full swing it sounds like it'll be a must-stop place on the way to Swan Hill and Lake Tyrrell.

New owners seem to be great they have some big shoes to fill but will do amazing cant wait to return, always a homely feeling when coming here, wonderful locals and so welcoming, perfection of a country pub.

Beds were comfortable, meal at the bar was good. Breakfast provided was convenient.

    The lack of cleanliness.

I happened to be the only hotel guest with a couple of people who camped beside the pub. Friendly, great pizzas. Fabulous range of alcohol options. Good value for money. The free camping is a great option for a quick stopover.

Would love to have had a beer garden, but the front upstairs veranda was good.

The hosts are very friendly. The location is very good if you are doing a quick driving trip to/from Mildura but can not do it all in one day.

    Hosts were lovely!

Very very dusty old place, we all got very itchy from the dust, beds are about 50 years old even the bases sunk, worst beds ever. dead bug carcasses in the bed, had to sleep on top of the covers, lots of dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere, bathroom was absolutely filthy with dead bugs and dust, really stale beer from the tap, frozen veg and packet potatoes for vegetables our kids wouldn’t even eat.

We had dinner in the bar which was great food for the price. The service was great from the owners of the hotel/pub. The location to the highway was spot on and easy to get to. There was also a number of attractions including a couple of the Silo Art pieces.

Not a lot, but the floor in the room creaked a bit in certain locations, but livable and expect that in an old building. Apart from that, there is not much to report for the Kaneira Hotel.

Fantastic pub in the middle of no where, helpful for us though !Lovely publicans, great meals.

I love an open window when sleeping, but a fan did the trick. Bit of a queue for the bathroom at busy times.

Staff Mary is very friendly, the bed is comfy. I called asleep right away.

The owners were very lovely and friendly Meals were well priced and tasty

Breakfast was only a loaf of bread The bathroom was really unclean and had to be shared amongst a lot of people It was really noisy (guests)

When I arrived, I was welcomed straight away with a smile.Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Although the bathroom was a shared bathroom it was clean and smelt amazing, and the shower was very powerful and hot.Being above the bar, I couldn't hear any noise in the room.

Sorry there was nothing I didn't like.

The owners were very friendly & accomodating. I like to support lovely old country pubs or they will disappear forever. Shame this is another one for sale but hopefully someone will take it on.

Old pubs are creaky & you hear a lot of the other guests noise.

    clean affordable and welcoming

The owners of the property are classic publicans. Nothing is too much trouble. Good beer, good food, comfortable lodgings. Great place to stop while exploring the Mallee.

If you're on a budget then you can't get much cheaper than this. But you kind of get what you pay for.

No battery in smoke detectorDusty room and bathroomRoom smelt musty Bedding doona and blanket was not sufficient for a cold night. Heating made alot of noise and wasn't very efficient in warming the room.
