High Leys Lodge

• This will be the bed and breakfast against which I will rate all other bed and breakfasts. It is, in a word, superb! Everything is so well done and thoughtful. Everything we could have needed was already there. The view is amazing, we never got tired of the ever changing view of the lake. Our room, the Luxemore, was beautifully furnished and decorated, with a comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. The dining area and the lounge felt like home, and in addition to having breakfast there, we also enjoyed curling up there in the evening with a cup of tea, one of Sarahs baked goodies, and our books. Sarah and John are wonderful hosts, we really enjoyed talking with them. They had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, it helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place to stay in Te Anau, this is the place.
• We had a beautiful 3 nights at High Leys Lodge. The property, grounds and views are absolutely stunning. Our bedroom was very comfortable and also had a lovely outlook. The room was spotlessly clean. Sarah and John are very friendly and great hosts. The breakfast to order each morning was delicious and Sarahs sweet treats she provided each afternoon were something to look forward to on our return from gorgeous driving day trips to fiordland national park. We would definitely stay again.
