- The hotel felt calm and well organized from the start. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a relaxed stay. I really appreciated how quiet the area was, especially after spending time in busier parts of Athens. It was easy to move around using public transport, and coming back to a peaceful environment made a big difference.

location and friendly staff.
people were having sex too loudly and for many hours , both day and night.
Being close to the coastal area was a great bonus. It was nice to enjoy walks near the sea while still having easy access to the city center and main attractions.
The bed was very comfortable and the room felt peaceful. I slept very well and appreciated how clean and fresh everything was. A big plus for anyone who values good rest.
Overall, Lacoba Hotel is a solid and reliable option. Clean rooms, friendly service, and a convenient location make it a place I would gladly choose again.
From the first moment, the staff were polite and helpful. Everything was explained clearly and check-in was very smooth. The overall feeling of the hotel was calm and welcoming.
Lacoba Hotel offers great value compared to other places in Athens. The room was modern, tidy, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
Very nice location. The stuff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast is great with a huge variety of foods. I was offered a free upgrade.
Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. Fresh linens, spotless bathroom, and a cozy room made the whole experience very comfortable.
This hotel offers everything a traveler could want: clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location, and great value. I would gladly return.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its spotless rooms and comfortable bed. The location was peaceful yet close enough to the beach and the city center. Perfect balance of relaxation and convenience.
the bathroom was in bad condition with water leaks and the shower was dangerous to use.. Never seen so much dust under the bed in my whole life !
Cheap compared to others
Ask for a non smoking room otherwise it feels like you’re entering an ashtray. Very small room and no shower curtain so hard to not put water everywhere.
- Location is well connected to the airport via bus. - A few nearby around to eat tasty local food.- The interesting Stavros Niarchos park and complex is around the corner. - Hotel premises are quite basic and its value for money are "roughly" fair.- Breakfast included, although served a bit too early (7:30 - 9:30). Mind the hours, they're strict. (See below)- Good A/C- Reception staff was supportive. I had an incident (described below) and I got a room upgrade and some free drinks as an apology.
OK, I tend not to be tough with bad Booking reviews (you get what you pay for) but this time I just cannot.- Bedroom had a some bright fluorescent blue light on the ceiling that could not be turned off (!!). A blue light that's permanently on.. (Do you know how hazardous blue lights are, specially during sleep?). I could only imagine this as a torture chamber.- Bathroom had no curtain or glass panels whatsoever. Just an additional drain in the middle of the bathroom. So, it was inevitable to make a mess. And there was not even a mop in the room. It's beyond uncomfortable and gross. I've been to cheaper 2-star hotels without proper showers that had at least a curtain separating the "washing space" from the toilet.- The SHOCK: the morning after our first night. There was a large COCKROACH (!!) in the bathroom. I'm sure the result of the ever soaked drain. I took a photo, showed it to the reception staff and demanded another room, which they kindly agreed to (I mean, how could you not to, given the evidence?)The upgraded room had at least one glass panel (much better than the previous one) and the blue light was much dimmer.- We went out and room was not cleaned. Bathroom and floor mat was still soaked (due to no curtain) and we had to find the cleaning lady and ask ourselves for resupplies (fresh towels and toiletries)-The lady setting the breakfast up was rude, sarcastic and passive-aggressive. I've seen her being unkind to people arriving to eat at 9:30 sharp or just 5 minutes after. The last day we had a morning flight, so we arrived at 7:27 for breakfast and this lady sardonically asked if we knew what time it was (she actually had me say the time). She slammed the breakfast hour sign on the counter to the next person who came after us at 7:29 (!!). This attitude alone ruined the staff rating of this hotel.
It is ideally located if you need to do business at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The shower area has no door, so the bathroom floor becomes all wet when you shower. Also, the room is not cleaned unless you ask for it.
The hotel has a boutique style that instantly makes you feel comfortable. It’s located in a quieter area of Kallithea, which I appreciated after the noise of central Athens. The bathroom was surprisingly luxurious, and the whole space felt thoughtfully designed. Perfect for couples or solo travelers.
Lacoba was such a great surprise. It’s stylish without being over-the-top, and it felt very safe and well-maintained. I used the nearby tram to get to the city center quickly, and coming back to a clean, air-conditioned room was just perfect after hours of walking around. The staff was kind and professional throughout.
The staff at Lacoba really made a difference. Friendly, attentive, and always available. The room itself was spacious enough for two people, with a comfortable bed and a large shower. I also appreciated the quietness of the area, which is rare for Athens. I would absolutely stay here again.
