- Stayed at the Durban for 7nights. Overall, this would be considered more of a guest house than a hotel. Staff were lovely - especially Juliet. The decor was in need of some TLC & the bathrooms had issues with taps falling off and the toilet not flushing. The pictures on website look nothing like the actual establishment! A little noisy/residential - sirens, loud music at all hrs, dogs barking, chickens & Cockerell giving it some - so rustic, to say the least. An eyesore of a property across the road. However, if you just want somewhere clean to put your head down & use as a base & you don't mind taking a taxi everywhere....then this is a decent spot.
