Pros +

  • Very close to the resort
  • Location, the shuttle and the staff
  • Location was very convenient for skiing and exploring. Short walk to River Run!

Cons -

  • Resort owned; Vail resorts does not care much for their guests if it does not earn them money, and it has been proven in working for the company as being a guest here. We will not be returning despite my 4.5 year work history, having grown up riding this resort, and every other little thing we used to claim Keystone to fame for. Proximity to the resort is not hardly a benefit if you have to go through a line at 9AM on a Monday to re-park 100 yards away.
  • Rooms were a little dated. Food options could be improved
  • The check-in process was the worst I've ever experienced. Upon arriving at the Lodge, there was no one there to assist with getting into my room. After calling the number listed in my booking confirmation and waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was told that I needed to check in at a location a mile away (Keystone Condo Check-in building).
