Balneario de Archena - Hotel Levante

The location and general atmosphere of the SPA complex - its like a small village. We have been several times and stayed at 2 out of the 3 hotels there. The pool area is great and it wasn't overly crowded as off season.

Would be better if hotel check-in was earlier than 3pm say 1pm to get more benefit of the facilities. Also the snack bar was closed and the restaurant wasn't serving food after 4pm which is disappointing given we couldn't check in until 3pm. Would be good if all day service was available.

The setting was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Spa facilities were great.The front desk staff in the Hotel Levante were polite and very helpful.

The attitude of the staff in the Agua restaurant was appalling and the food was cold in both the Agua restaurant and the restaurant in the hotel Leon. We actually lodged a complaint with the hotel about the Agua restaurant staff.Very good selection for breakfast.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Spa area was lovely. Water temperatures warm and relaxing. The outside pools were a treat on a cold and rainy day.

The food provided as full and half board via the room booking was expensive and quite mediocre overall. Felt like they knew they had a captive audience and didn’t need to try very hard. I would suggest ordering off the menu from the beach bar or Casino instead as it’s likely better value for money.

Relaxing. Peaceful. Beautiful location. Helpful staff. The casino bar was fantastic with great staff and an extended menu from the last time we visited.

The pillows in the room were uncomfortable. More information about the termalium in advance of our stay would have been helpful. We did not know we had to bring our own towels and padlock for the lockers.

Breakfast was great but dinner poor and as international hotel very little English and waitress no English, food ordered was not what was served and being honest not nice food at dinner but breakfast buffet great.

Better dinner and service with a bit of English understood. Also trying to make us pay for our drinks with no English understanding as we was still eating.

The room was spacious and comfortable . We have stayed in Hotel Levante at least five times. The staff are courteous and helpful

We have no complaints about the property.

We have a lovely experience. I treated a friend for her 60th and booked an overnight stay. Our Hotel was lovely and luckily for us our room was ready when we arrived at about 1pm. We decided to go straight into the spa area which was not over busy so really enjoyed our first visit. If you stay overnight you have robes you can use and quite acceptable to walk around the complex in your robes and flip flops. If you have a padlock bring with you as will need one if you want to use a locker in the spa area. There are outdoor pools and an indoor area which has a lazy river which was actually more of a fast river so was great fun. We didn't go for any treatments or paid for the extra spa area and so can't comment on these facilities and services. We walked into the town which is not that far and flat and well lit at night and managed to find somewhere to eat at 5pm as most places only serving drinks until 7.30pm which is quite normal. We had breakfast the following day at the hotel which was great, lots of choice and really enjoyed.

On our first day we had no hot water in our hotel room when we got back from the spa at about 4pm. The spa area has plenty of showers so we should of maybe showered and washed our hair there before going back to the hotel.

Pools and leisure facilities very good. Tina who helped us with spa bookings etc was excellent, helpful, great service.

Car park is a nightmare, very tight to manoeuvre in, we were told barriers would be auto number plate recognition, they weren’t. No concierge or valet service despite being a 4* hotel. We had a superior room, it was pretty basic, bathroom smelt, balcony is a Juliet balcony not one you can sit on. Service at casino bar was poor and at Aqua restaurant service and food was poor. Chiranquito was best for food and service but no salt, pepper or butter to go with pizza/croissants. We looked forward to this break and the pool experience was good but the hotel experience not good, for info we are booking.com level 3 genius so know what good looks like.

Everything is situated on one site which is wonderful and makes it so much easier to attend booked appointments for treatments.All the pools are lovely and warm like Bath temperature.Everyone is helpful and friendly, even when they can’t speak English, they will try their best to help.

The only down side was the Dinner in the evenings. It was very ‘hit’ and ‘miss’. Soup based dishes were delicious and anything freshly cooked like salmon, however vegetables were often cooked to death and soggy with no flavour. So we selected dishes based on minimal sides of veg unfortunately.The menu was in English, which was great, however again we had to decipher what the dish could actually be. For example, ‘jacket potatoes’ was in fact boiled potatoes with their skin on.Rice and Rabbit was Paella. But this wasn’t a massive issue and we understood there could be language barriers when translating onto paper the daily menu. The main thing was that the staff were very friendly and polite.

The room was clean and comfortable, the evening ambiance around the place was great. Very peaceful and relaxing. The staff at the restaurant and hotel were very friendly and helpful.

The spa pools were good, but in need of some maintenance. A balcony was listed in the reservation, but this was a little misleading, with a small Juliet window being the balcony.

We find the majority of staff quite rude!!! This is not our first stay here...

All the staff were lovely, from the time we arrived until we left. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast. We were just doing a one night stopover on our travels and happy we went. It’s like a mini village and found it super chill; loved people toddling around in their white bathrobes, off for a swim, a spa treatment or just a cold beer. We didn’t, but everyone was just doing their own thing. We’d go back.

Nothing really. AC was a little noisy, but on the flip side we didn’t hear anything from other guests, no doors banging or noises from rooms.

A nice comfortable hotel and friendly staff . It’s close to all the spa facilities and good value with half board . Very nice breakfast.Also evening entertainment was fun when we were there with dancing

There was only 1 taxi, I pre booked it for 7.30, went to reception and was told it was in murcia, so we had a long walk into centre for a bar

Rooms are comfortable and we especially like the rooms with a view of the square and the church
