Royal Star Beach Resort

Pros +

• First and foremost, all the staff without exception, are delightful, friendly and cheerful. This is the most important thing. The buffet service food and inclusive drinks are a good standard and the Chinese a la carte restaurant is exceptionally good. The pool area and especially the beach area is beautifully laid out, and the shop is well stocked. Our room and terrace are a good size and the shower works extremely well. The general manager is a very nice man and spoke to us several times during our short stay. I'm sure he is one important reason why the staff appear very happy and therefore offer very good service. The lovely gentleman on reception very cheerfully and patiently helped us with our onward flight boarding passes when my internet connection wasn't working well. All in all a very nice place to spend some time in Hurghada.

Cons -

• The only slight negative is the decor and finishes in some parts of the hotel could perhaps do with some upgrade, though this would not stop us staying again.
• The drinks are un drinkable no white wine available the vodka n gin are disgustingly bad , had to go to local pub
