Pros +

  • Great staff, cool neighborhood. Included breakfast is always a major plus!
  • The location is good in terms of being close to restaurants The breakfast is ok (but water is extra paid)
  • The rooms are very basic, with stained curtains hanging off a rail not even attached to the wall, paint flaking off the walls, hard mattress, mould in the shower and not even a side lamp. Worst of all are the very loud trains that go past every 10 minutes starting from 04:30 running until nearly 23:00, which was the worst thing possible for our early flight the next day!

Cons -

  • Felt like we could feel every spring in the very thin mattress, but we knew it was a bargain hotel and didn't particularly expect much better. Very plain and humble room, and the door lock was a joke. Parking was a bit tricky -- we ended up going around the block a few times then parking a few blocks away only to learn they had parking available at the property. All the spots out front when we arrived were taken so there wasn't a good spot to temporarily park to check-in. However, eventually a spot opened up and we were able to successfully parallel park in front of the hotel where we felt security would be good enough.
  • Where do I start: The room was absolutely filthy - lots of hair in the bathroom (on the floor, in the shower and in the washbasin) There window in the bathroom had 1/3 of the window glass missing!!! We had to put the blanket in missing part to prevent the bugs or mosquito from getting inside. The hotel is very close to the railways so you can hear the trains from your room. The walls are thin and your can hear everything including a phone ringing in the reception. The phone in reception rang and rang at night and no one cared to pick it up. The guy who stayed in the reception didn't speak any English. I showed him the missing part of glass in the window and he simply shrugged and left.
