Blue Orchids Beach Hotel is on Worthing beach, on Barbados’ south coast. It offers a gym, outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Studios feature a terrace with beach and ocean views. - Everything was great, the view from the balcony was exceptional. I like the little galley kitchen in the studio room. I could have sat on the balcony looking out to sea all day. Staff were very accomodating.
- Great location and view of the sea. However hotel room decor is dated and needs an overhaul; cracked floor tiles, old cooker. Plus the lift did not work the whole time I was there, no welcome drink on arrival or bottled water in the room, surprised that there was no tea or coffee, asked staff and they said you buy your own (havent had this with other hotels in Barbados, no menus in the room for room service, toilet was leaking, very poor Wi-Fi dropped out regularly throughout the day,
Cons -
- The lifts were out of order so I had to haul my bags up two flights of stairs, for me not a big deal but someone else may have needed help.
