Pros +

  • We received such a warm welcome from our lovely kind Italian hosts Gianni and Carla at Casa Curtos. The accommodation is the sweetest little stone house set in their beautiful walled garden, full of succulent plants and cacti. The little house has a lovely comfy bed, hot shower and we were served a delicious breakfast on our little garden terrace. This included delicious bread and jam made by Gianni's own fair hands. They also organised our riding trip to the top of El Quemado mountain for us. Easy parking at the hotel across the street for a small fee. Highly recommend staying here!
  • This is one of my most favourite places in all of Mexico! It was a beautiful little paradise - a private unit with a beautiful patio / garden and the kindest and most helpful hosts! Breakfast was incredible (home cooked!!), location was the best you could ask for, and the unit was just perfect - so well decorated and designed. My wonderful hosts were so kind and welcoming and very knowledgable. I felt so looked after and couldnt recommend this place enough! I did a horse riding trip with Maurice (the hosts have his contact details) and it was just me and him in the mountains. He is one of the kindest, calmest and most respectful Mexican men I have met. I highly recommend contacting him if you want a tour or a horse riding trip.

  • It was perfect - no faults at all
