El Cid Castilla Beach hotel is located on the Mazatlán's beach in the Golden Zone. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from Mazatlán Airport and 15 minutes from the historic district. The El Cid Castilla has 8 pools, restaurants and bars. Guests can play golf or tennis at the El Cid Country Club. The hotel has water slides and a Kids Club. An on-site marina offers slips and sports fishing. All rooms at Castilla Beach have ceiling fans. Each room also provides a private balcony, where you can enjoy the sunset. Located in Mazatlan's Golden Zone, El Cid Castilla is 15 minutes' drive from the Old Town. The Angela Peralta Theater is also located nearby. $15 USD Mandatory Daily Resort Fee is not included in your room total stay amount. The daily charge is made at check-in and is mandatory to all room reservations.

- The staff is super friendly and helpful.
- Hotel was above my expectation. Staff was extremely nice and very professional. We did not get all the all inclusive package and even then we were treated with 5 star service. I would definitely stay here again.

- The food was ok. For it being all inclusive it did not include water bottles and the beer selection was only 2 beers so that was disappointing. The hotel overall is clean but it is a bit out dated and far from the main strip in Mazatlan.
- Hotel employees wrongfully charged me over 650 usd WITHOUT authorization. There are amazing people at el cid but there are few that caused a ton of pain. Claiming they are our friends, then NOT considering our side of story...truth
- Hotel did not have room ready until 4PM on check in day. WiFi access was not included in room rate and could only be purchased in person at front desk. Pool was not heated and food was prohibited poolside. One could only eat at tables far away from pool.
