- The hotel is well-located with several stores like OXXO and street food just across the street, the staff is very kind, the cleanliness of the room was optimal, and the interior design of rooms is as shown on pictures. In my opinion, current construction is deliberately omitted not to lose bookings, but this is NOT fair with guests who paid relatively high prices for a hotel running under proper conditions and arrive to find such a big surprise
Cons -
- The hotel is under renovation, and this is not mentioned on Booking.com or other platforms. It was a surprise upon check in to see construction of the elevator in the middle of the hotel, construction workers going up and down the stairs and dirty carpets all over. I stayed for 3 nights and paid an average of 900 MXN ($45 USD), which in my opinion was way too high for tolerating the inadequate conditions of the hotel. Note this situation will go on for another 6 MONTHS (probably UNTIL END OF 2025).
