Pros +
- The location was great. Food was good, not fantastic
- Lovely view. The best cocktails in Mexico Lovely room with a 3rd bed for our son Collected from train.
Cons -
- I think the place was way over priced for what you got out it. And the room we stayed in (overlooking rhe canyon) practically had the railing falling off on the balcony.
- Terrible receptionist. Said she would call a taxi and on both occasions didn't. We had to hitch back. No one gives any advice on how to walk to the cable car which in fact is very easy and starts just below the fire pit area. Little pink ribbons mark the way and it is 40-45 mins walk in a pleasant wood. You pass through a tiny hamlet with a rickety gate. Food expensive and no choice. We found a n ice little local restaurant down in the village which was better for lunch. The whole place is full of tour groups so not so great for independent travellers but the view and cocktails just about make up for it!
