Easy parking outside your room, plenty of space inside, good beds, good swimming pool, lovely staff
Pool. Busstop at the door. Big room. Airport transfer shuttle. Price.
Staff was friendly.

Cons -

Could do with some curtains in the kitchen windown
Getting burgled. Staff were great, but the location is not especially secure. And if you're not in central Auckland it's 60-90 minutes on the bus to anywhere. Better be packing a rental car or an AT card.
Wifi was not really working. Very loud w a couple shouting majority of the night. Other guests had to check on them, a few times.. for that really I had little to no sleep. I also found cockroaches in the room. I checked out Shortly after midnight

Very comfortable suite with loads of nice touches; great bed and pillows, coffee service, hair dryer. Staff was friendly,helpful and a great ambassador for the hotel and his country.

Very sad to read some of the critical reviews, which made us somewhat apprehensive before checking in. What rubbish! Everyone at the Oakwood was fantastic, friendly and helpful, the property was perfectly fine.
