Located between Pakuranga Plaza and Highland Park Shopping Center, Cascades Motel is within 5 minutes' walk of Lloyd Elsmore Park and St Kentigern College. Each ground floor room and studio offers a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. All include a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub and a hairdryer. Shared facilities offered at the property include a guest laundry with ironing facilities and free washing powder. Mount Smart Stadium and Auckland Airport are within 20 minutes' drive of the property.

Pros +

Very clean and tidy, friendly staff. Comfortable bed, would absolutely stay again. Great value for money.
The manager and staff were exceptional and the room was lovely. And there was a regular bus virtually outside which was perfect for someone without a car.

Cons -

The noise from the adjoining building works was horrendous, often from 7am until 7.30pm. However, the motel staff were extremely understanding and once alerted to the problem they did their utmost to reduce the hours of drilling and hammering, although of course during the day it was still disruptive. I would definitely stay here again but would first check if the building works were complete!
