- Our recent trip to Sri Lanka was excellent overall, but unfortunately, our stay at Trellis Homes was quite disappointing. Poor Hospitality: The hospitality was very poor. Bad Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak, making it difficult to stay connected. A shared bathroom with a double door just feels uncomfortable. You never know if someone might come in from the other sideits kind of unsettling. Rigid Checkout Policy: When we were just an hour late to check out, there was absolutely no flexibility or understanding shown. It felt very money-minded and lacking in human consideration. Now, we genuinely feel that it would have been better if we had booked a commercial stay instead. At least we could have expected the basic amenities and services that were missing here. Overall, this was one of the worst homestay experiences we've had. The listing was misleading, and the atmosphere did not reflect the values of a true homestay. We hope this feedback helps improve transparency for future guests. Thank you.
