Foreshore Hotel is located in Lauderdale, on Hobart's picturesque Eastern Shore. It is within 20 minutes' drive of both Hobart Airport and Hobart CBD (Central Business District). This peaceful retreat is 10 minutes' drive from 7 Mile Beach and offers a sports bar. The 4-star guest rooms offer both air conditioning and a private courtyard. Each is equipped with a fridge, an electric kettle, toaster, private patio, and a flat-screen TV. Continental breakfast is available and can be ordered the night before.A laundry area is available. Foreshore Hotel is an 8-minute drive from Royal Hobart Golf Club and a 15-minute drive from Blundstone Arena. The historic Port Arthur is a 1-hour and 15-minute drive away. The newly re-opened Altitude Restaurant & Functions offers a relaxed atmosphere for pre-dinner drinks or hosting functions with great views. The Sports Bar overlooks Ralphs Bay and offers a range of beers and wines.

- The room
- The room was clean and tidy and it was quite modern and new
- Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Cons -
- could include a cooked breakfast
- It was too far outside of Hobart. I didn't think this was a 4 star hotel. It was more of a motel with a casino attached. I didn't like that.
