You can enjoy a casual meal at The Coolaroo Bistro, which serves tasty dishes including chicken parmigiana, roast of the day and fisherman's basket. There is also a bar offering refreshing beverages. Coolaroo Hotel is less than 10 minutes’ drive from The Meadows Melbourne Greyhound and Racing Association, as well as the Broadmeadows Motor Cycle Park. Melbourne Airport is 15 minutes’ drive away. Each room is equipped with a work desk, ironing facilities, a telephone and a refrigerator. They have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Hairdryers and a DVD player are available from reception upon request.

- Location, friendly helpful staff, best bed ever. Great food in the restaurant
- Neat and well laid out. Somewhere to sit and work. Late check in through hotel. Served the purpose well.
Cons -
- A run down propriety with a 1980 Las Vegas vibe. Gambling machines near the reception area. No one available before 10 am. No hairdryer in the room. Rooms are small and dingy.
- Wasn't quite the location i was after, but turned out to be quite central relatively so worked ok.
