High Cross Randwick by Sydney Lodges is a small family-owned boutique property, just a short walk from UNSW (University of NSW), Prince of Wales Hospital and all the Randwick Hospitals. Walk to the beach, shop in the city or try some of the amazing food in and around the buzzing streets of eastern Sydney. The property is just 20 minutes by light rail or bus to get to the exciting Sydney CBD and stunning Sydney Harbor. The property offers modern comforts such as wireless internet access and air-conditioning. The property also has an outdoor barbecue area for guests to enjoy. All rooms feature air-conditioning, free WiFi up to 1GB per day, flat-screen TV's, a small refrigerator and tea and coffee-making facilities. Each room also includes a private private bathroom with free toiletries. Premium linen and towels are included. We had a reasonable size family room for 1 night. All facilities (A/C, hotwater etc) were working. Linen was clean. Had access to common kitchen, fridge and tea making facilities in the room. Except the condition of the carpets no major complains.

Staff availability, cleanliness, attention to detail.
No staff available to check you in after 6:30 pm. They leave an envelope for you in a lock box. We were not made aware of this, and never received an email with the code, so we had to call.
The carpets throughout the hotel were too old. If the carpets are replaced or ripped of leave as a wooden floor it will give much more value to the hotel.
