Quinta do Estreito Vintage House is located below the village of Estreito, a short distance from Funchal. Originally a vineyard, this estate now offers luxury accommodations and panoramic views. There are 48 stylish and beautifully decorated rooms on offer. All of the rooms are south facing and offer a large balcony with sea view. There are 2 gourmet restaurants at Quinta do Estreito offering a great selection of traditional Madeiran cuisine. There are also a number of bars and a wine cellar with barrels of Madeira wine. There is a swimming pool and landscaped gardens for guests to enjoy.

- Customer service, specially from Ms. Pereira, she helped me so much when calling to enquire about my car rental to its agency.
- Front desk staff were very nice and it was nice to eat breakfast on the terrace.
Cons -
- -The facilities are wearing down. There needs to be a further cleaning than what the janitors normally do. -There should be more electrical outlets, especially when the hotel is a modern construction. They only have like a couple, one of them didn't work
- I was disappointed that the shuttle to Funchal was not in service as this was the initial draw for me to stay at this hotel.
