Great breakfast. Room was as expected for the price charged. Staff very friendly.
Straightforward breakfast with a reasonable selection of local products. Generally attentive staff. Parking at this point in the season was possible out front and it was easy to walk to everywhere within Funchal.

Cons -

Close to everything.
The bathrooms are absolutely nuts with this huge glass wall that allows each person to see what the other is doing. Very, very bad design choice. Additionally, the hotel is rated for four stars but feels like three at best.
